I went to this location today around 3:15 January 2nd. This place was absolutely disgusting!! The Kiosks didn't work and the manager was leaning against a counter talking on her cell phone looking right at me the whole time and never directed me on how they were handling orders currently. Typically, this particular Wendy's encourages you to use those Kiosks. I was the only customer in the place and zero employees besides the unhelpful manager knew I was even there. When I did get help from a cashier she was very nice and took my order. While I was waiting for my order I went to wash my hands in the sink outside of the bathrooms. The paper towel despenser also wasn't working so I went in the bathroom. I came back and my order was sitting there. I grabbed it and sat it down on a booth. It had crumbs all over it just like the one next to it so I went to the corner table by the wall. I went to fill my drink and the coke machine literally had goop alllll over it. Inside, the touch screen everywhere!! The area for the lids had a giant puddle of soda sitting on the counter and the stainless steel around the lids had track marks of dirty rags that was used at some point to clean them. The non working kiosks had a horrible film on them also. As I was eating, I realized that every inch at eye level of windows were so smudged with grease finger prints and the doors were 10 times worse! My fries were cold and hard and I was so grossed out by it all that I just threw my food away. I did tell the manager that I was disappointed with my visit and showed her the dirty things that I couldn't get past. While I showed her the windows she replied "those are finger prints". Yes they are but they are literally covering every window and hardcore on the doors. I showed her the drink machine and she didn't care. I showed her the puddle of soda and she agreed that THAT one thing wasn't acceptable. The filth in this place did not happen over lunch today. It is absolutely built up from who knows how long. The manager's response to all of this was, "I'm sorry that you feel this way". No offer for me to come back when it's better or anything. I have enjoyed my Blount County Wendy's locations for years! I consider their core employees my friends. My company has ordered food for 50 plus employees on Saturdays once a month for years. I have never experienced what I did today. This newer Wendy's has always been less clean than the others in my opinion but today was SUPER gross. How do you have such a tiny lobby and it's the grossest one in...
Read moreI would leave a 0 if I could.... I started my horrible visit with trying to walk inside, but the doors were locked. A Spanish woman came out carrying bags saying "it's closed". I went back to my car and got into the drive thru line. I sat in the drive thru line for about 20 mins to be told my order is to big to come inside "the door is unlocked now". So I went inside to kiosks that didn't work and no one around to help. When I went to the counter the kid told me he would be there in a few minutes. I stood there for another 20 minutes before he came to take my large order (feeding 4 adults). After waiting another 25 minutes for the food and drinks I checked the food- frosties were melted becuase they had sat while they made the food, missing 2 large fries, strawberries from my salad, chicken nuggets and the sandwich I had on another order had now been sitting for an hour. An HOUR I sat in this restaurant. Waiting for a bunch of kitchen crew that were standing around not doing anything but giving dirty looks to the people acting in the lobby. The only 2 people that seemed mildly concerned where the 2 white people that spoke English. This restaurant is disgusting and I will never eat here again nor will I recommend this restaurant to ANYONE. When I went back inside because I didn't receive all my food I asked the kid at the front what the GM's name was. He told me Misty but had a look on his face like he didn't know if that was the right name. I will be making a stop in to see the GM in the next...
Read moreWorst Wendy’s ever! I’m gluten free and travel a lot. I always count on Wendy’s to have good food and understand the issue of gluten free. Not this Wendy’s. And a very “unwelcoming “ Wendy’s. First thing you see when you walk in are signs that say “should you stay or should you go”….I almost went. The lobby is very uninviting. There is no menu posted, only little laminated cards with no prices. You can use the kiosk, or eventually someone will come to the entrance and take your order. I asked if they had could do a lettuce wrap. Absolutely not. Ok ….do you by chance have a gluten free bun(I have been at random Wendy’s that carry them). No the Manager says nothing here is gluten free. Really, I said, I’m sure your beef is gluten free…I was about to start in on the lettuce, tomatoes, etc but I was hungry. After several tries she took our order. The food was good but the vanilla frosty was tasteless. Very small lobby and most of the lobby is shared with the bathroom hallway. Lovely to sit in the hallway to the bathrooms and eat your lunch. Horrible lobby design……probably designed to send you to the drive through. Although after reading the drive through reviews don’t think I’ll be visiting this Wendy’s again. Their manager should read Wendy’s own postings about their no gluten...
