After savoring a tasty burrito at Burrito Bistro down the street, I came upon Hometown Juice & Co’s welcoming facade and decided to stop in for a smoothie. The employee working the counter was congenially helpful and accommodating, and I was able to order the Hometown Hero, swapping out the Peanut Butter and Almond Milk for Almond Butter and Oat milk. The remaining ingredients were coffee (three frozen cubes), cocoa nibs, and banana—no unnecessary additions like powders or syrups. The result: one of the best smoothies I’ve tasted! I absolutely loved going to this place for a quick lunch/snack while shopping in the Mashpee Commons. My mom and I got the Old County smoothie- we both loved it, (I also added whey protein to this smoothie, and it made it 100x better).
