Ordered two pizzas and Howie bread superbowl sunday (2/3/2019). When I got home, I discovered they were the wrong pizzas. I ordered one peperoni and one peperoni and green olives. I received one ham and one sausage and green pepper. I understand mistakes happen, and this is the busiest day of the year for pizza places. I called and spoke with a manager, who offered to remake the pizzas (not wild about that option because it's a 30 minute drive round trip), he'd deliver the new pizzas in 40+ minutes (not really loving that option either, since the family was pretty hungry and the game had started), or he offered to reverse the charges on my card. That sounded like the best solution, so I asked him to do that. He told me it would take a few days for the charges to be reversed, so I waited until 2/12/19 (9 days) to come into the store to ask about the refund. The young man behind the counter was very friendly and took down my contact info and told me that he'd have a manager or owner follow up with me. Read moreThis is hard. The line staff person was handling a situation just fine. I ordered online and my order didn't go thru. Disappointed and frustrated I wanted to go and order my food. A female with blue hair used for id purposes only, interrupted the young man helping me. She repeatedly insisted I call another store to see if my order was there. I repeatedly insisted I just wanted to order pizza and I was not interested in her rude interruption of the person. To which she responded, you talk to me I'm the manager. I again stated, I want to order pizza. She then escalated by saying I could leave. I said I want to order pizza. To which she responded I won't be disrespected. To which I said you just disrespected him and I want to order pizza. She walked away finally. But jeeze.... I am a business owner. 1. Never done in hot. 2) let your staff handle situations they are already handling 3) get a bit more training in customer service. When we got to the store the employee was very rude and said he didn’t have an order under the name even though the call was placed 10 mins before showing up. Upon arrival we were rudely told they didn’t have it and the employee at the desk looked away and started helping the next person without asking if we wanted to place the order again or even to check if it was input under the wrong name. Nothing. I hope this employee doesn’t always have this attitude, but by his hostility I’m almost 100% certain it isn’t and won’t be the last time for this employee. As fairly regular customers of this store, we were very taken back to be talked to in such a rude and unprofessional manner. The employee was a middle aged man, stubble beard, and didn’t have a name tag on so we aren’t sure his name but we’d be more than happy to point out the employee for management to look into the situation.
