When I think of nice and refreshing shave ice I will always for the rest of my life think of this place. The shave is tastes so fresh and refreshing. Even though it has a high price it is totally worth it. I would come back to Maui just for this. This will go on to be my favorite shave ice that I’ve ever had (trust me I’ve eaten a lot of shave ice). I also love that they use fruit for their syrups and that all of their syrup and flavors for the shave ice are fruit juice based. The gelato is also outstanding and is very refreshing with all of there different unique flavors. The dole whip is thick and creamy which is also a great shave ice topping. Overall this place is really a hidden gem. I hope everyone gets to come and try this place one day. This place deserves an award for creating a delicious healthier (when I say healthier I mean not as sweet and sugary) shave ice. This place deserves billions of 5 star reviews. (5 star reviews only)!! The staff was super kind, respectful, and patient. The only thing I would change is make this place a chain and open them in California so I could have it year round. And also have a little more staff per shift. But overall this place is seriously delicious. I definitely recommend!!! And again they only deserve 5 star...

This is the BEST gelato & shaved ice in Kaanapali…if not all of Maui!!! You have to try this place if you’re on the island!! We’ve been coming to maui forever & would go to Ono gelato…it used to be really good but as time goes on, it’s definitely not as good. This last visit we stumbled upon this new gelato AND shaved ice place right next to Starbucks located on the beach of the Marriott. Soooooo good!!! The owner ended up being the one who helped us & said they opened just a few weeks ago. The gelato is made locally in small batches! So creamy & yummy! If you like coffee, there was 2 options cappuccino & mocha mud pie…best I’ve ever had. We also tried the macadamia nut & pistachio flavors. All amazing! My son got the guava & peach shaved ice! What I loved about it is that the ice is SUPER fine made from filtered water & all of their flavors are real fruit purée vs artificial flavors with dyes etc…none of that here!! Will be coming back here every time we visit & telling all of our family & friends to support this new local business! Great peeps running it! Look for the awesome Hula Girl statue holding ice...

Gelato: the only item I can speak on is the gelato but OH MY GOSH it was incredible. We had the salted caramel and cookies n cream. It was rich and creamy, exceeding my expectations! The base of the gelato is imported from Italy and (although I didn’t have the shaved ice) the syrups for shaved ice are house made out of fruit puree and cane sugar.

Service: We stopped in 3 mins before closing and they graciously served us with a smile. They offered samples, explanations on the different products and origin story. Service was incredible!

Atmosphere: the shop is located next to the Starbucks at the Maui Marriott Ocean Club. Easy stop on the beach walk to whalers village!
