McDonald's — Restaurant in Maui

Our experience of this McDonald's with less than satisfactory. We arrived during lunch hour to find a semi truck making a delivery which kept anybody from parking in the McDonald's parking lot. Therefore we had to park in the parking lot next door, which wasn't too big of a deal. When we got inside you could order on the kiosk or walk up to a person and place your order. We chose to walk up to a person. She looked like she hated her job and was disgusted with us because we needed half a minute to place our order. The menu kept scrolling and showing different things so it was hard to just look at it and figure out what you wanted. I'm sure they think that's really cool but I found it quite annoying! When we went to find a seat there were none available. Many of the seats had signs on them that said Do not sit here because the seats were broken. We finally chose to just go eat our food in the car. My suggestion is to choose a different place to eat in the area... There are plenty of...

Well, it's McDonald's. The main reason we went was because we heard that in Hawaii, they have Spam on the menu. I know, Spam. Apparently it is only during a breakfast dish served with eggs. We were there a little after lunch time so it was not on the menu. This was also the first time I had been to a McDonald's in maybe 9-10 years. Well, the Quarter Pounder with cheese still tastes the same! I suppose I would give it 5 stars for being a McDonald's, except I found it quite annoying that I had to have an employee unlocked the bathrooms just to go. That's just not right. Other than that, the people were friendly the food hot and fresh and it was a newer McDonald's. Very rude to us.. Again! We were here in 2021 and the workers at this McDonald’s were very rude and act put out to be at work. This time around (2022) we decided to give it another try just to be disappointed again by the staffs poor attitude. We ordered an iced coffee and were given a regular HOT coffee. I pointed it out to the worker who gave us our food and first she tried to tell me that she did put ice in it even though it was still piping hot.. she then went back and was loudly complaining about me to her coworkers while she made an iced coffee that she almost spilled when she slid it towards me and walked away without saying anything.
