Unreal boba llc — Restaurant in Maui

Everything here tastes terrible! Everything is waaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyy overly sweetened and made with artificial powders. If you just look in the window you can see all of their Chinese sugary powders for their artificial flavors. Once. I did see a jar of passion fruit mango jelly from Costco, probably the only exception for that flavor. The customer service is the WORST! I am overlook the bad taste of the drinks but not the customer service, warranting this review. I ordered from them a few times, just some basic milk teas and every time I got them they were pure liquid. So, a following visit I went to order a drink. I asked for more ice cubes because there were not enough ice cubes. The worker told me that they don’t make iced milk teas and they only come blended. I was baffled because mine have always been sheer liquid. the “owner” stepped in (weird since I met another person also called the owner, an older local guy with no hair, yet this guy was also older and local). He was a real piece of work, so rude. He argued he owns the place and they never come with ice cubes. This means their drinks are always liquidy and melted when you receive them, not blended or made properly. He also said they do put ice cubes in their “breezy (juice)” drinks. Yet they can’t make drinks with their powder, water, and instead of blended ice, add the ice cubes they already have in the truck? Not to mention this place is overpriced for horrible quality artificial drinks. At the Pu’u Kukui school along fling, a group of teens ran the truck. I ordered a mango milk tea for my daughter. My daughter took a couple sips and said it tasted horrible like perfume. Very on brand, unreal boba uses all artificial flavorings despite Maui being in season for mangos right now. My child apologized to the cashier and said that it tastes bad like she’s drinking perfume or soap and if she could please switch it out for a new flavor, since the drink was full and just made (she just sipped it to taste it). The workers said no! 😧😧😧😧 I am BAFFLED!!! In over 15 years of working various food and beverage jobs, in high ends resorts and gram and go places, and as a comsumer of food and drink businesses daily, I have NEVER had a food or drink business refuse to make a drink because it was disgusting! Never again unreal boba! Gross and horrible...

We tried it last night at Maui Sunday Market!! Thai tea slush with boba, milk tea slush and Ube slush - all were so good! Options for sweetness levels a bonus. Pearls were fresh, sweet and chewy. Friendly staff and efficient flow with the pick up in the back of food truck! 🤙💕I googled Unreal in hopes of finding it again during our trip to Maui! 😂Definitely need to up your social presence so folks can track you down for more delicious boba!...

Overpriced drinks. They have two sizes, 16 oz that’s $8 and 24 that’s $10. You ask for less sugar but theyre all so sweet. They cant make it less sweet because it’s all premade.
