Burger King — Restaurant in Mauldin

Wasn't crowed. Staff wasn't around to take our order. Someone came walking around grill. But disappeared. Then, one young man came walking up to the counter. He took a woman's order. Then he just looked at me. Saying not one word. I proceeded with my order. He wasn't familiar with what I ordered. Nor the lady's order I was with. I had an add out of newspaper with me. I showed him the add. Then I saw one man come out of the side room and go over to the grill. I was Thinking he was going to start some of the orders. Wrong! Then another lady took over the young man at the front register. Dont know where he went! I was thinking, can any of these people speak? Now a worker came in view with a big box,.? The man at the grill had 1 bun opened looking around. I know this is Burger King! Have it your way! But it was getting ridiculous! The lady in front of me starting asking someone who wouldn't listen to give her money back. Still, workers weren't acting like we were standing there. Just 3 customers counting me. The lady started raising her voice. Wanting her money back. Stating she would never come back in this store again! By this time I saw 2 workers 1 at fries 1 fixing whatever. The lady screamed and the lady at the fries came over saying not a word to the lady. Looked for receipt which was in behind the counter in the floor. The worker looked picked it up. Opened the cash register and handed the lady who was still aggravated gave her money back. Didn't speak! Lol, I was still waiting with one other lady. What kind of atmosphere was it?.? LOL! The worker just turned around and went back to fries. Which I noticed all baskets were up with no fries in them. By this time, the other customer was up at the counter asking me what was going on? I look back.... the whole situation could have been on Canid Camera. Or maybe Where the Undercover Boss comes into the store. By this time The worker had put the fries into the fryer. Yay! She looked at me. I was too dumb founded to say anything The only other customer waiting came up. Stating what was wrong she wouldn't be back. This was the 2cd time I have been in that New Burger King. I hope It's my last! This experience took over 30 minutes. For a whopper, large fries and coke. Nothing special! By this time, my stomach was upset! The other lady was really mad! Stating she would never come back. Guess the Staff had it THERE WAY!!! I visited the Burger King in Mauldin South Carolina yesterday morning. August 27th between 9:45 am and 10 am. I parked outside to go inside and order because I had a big order and didnt want to go through the drive thru and possibly mess up their drive thru time. When getting out a girl came out an yelled that the dinning room was closed and I needed to go through the drive thru. I said ok. Now, I live in a different city and had no clue that the dinning room was closed. I said that to say this. She had an attitude when she yelled out like im supposed to know that already. So i go to the drive thru and I didnt get a greeting. The girl says " Go ahead with your order." Not " Thank you for choosing Burger King,. What would you like to order today?' So I started to order and while ordering, she cuts me of rudely and says " anything else. I said "No, I'll let you know when Im done." She says " What was your order again " I couldn't understand because of your attitude." So now I have a attitude forreal. I pull up to the window and its the same girl who yelled at me to even go through the drive thru. I asked for a manager and she says "Im sorry, we dont serve rude customers." at this point I lost my mind and was yelling back her. She then stick her middle finger up at me and slams the window. So im going to drive a away and while leaving the store, I look to my left and this girl is at the lobby door still trying to argue. Im driving away. Why is she even trying to continue? So I put my car in park and get out? now the manager, I guess this is the manager comes out an tries to FINALLY do their job. I did act a fool after being disrespected by this employee. NO ONE had on name tags but with the date and the time frame provided there should be camera footage of this incident. I hope this is handle be there is no way employees should act...

My experience started in the drive thru where the lady taking my order was very short with me, interrupted me multiple times and ended up telling me to pull up to finish taking my order. I got to the window and ordered my food. I asked if they had cherry coke or just coke and she interpreted it as me wanting a cherry freeze...Ok, cool that was fine. I was asked to pull around and wait for my food. We waited for about 10 minutes or so and I saw there were only 2 people working so I was unbothered as they were short staffed. When my order was brought out the woman repeated my order back leaving the whopper off and I said "and a whopper with cheese" she handed me the bag and I was charged the $7 and some change for it. Kids were hungry so we didn't check the bag. We got home and the whopper was MIA. I called until someone answered, I told the man I spoke with that I just wanted a refund for the burger he said to bring in my receipt. When I got there the rude woman got an attitude with me and told me she PERSONALLY made my order and knew for a fact the whopper was in the bag. I told her it most definitely was not and I wouldn't be there if it had been.I told her I just wanted a refund for the burger and she told me they don't give refunds...I told her the man on the phone said I could get a refund and that is what I wanted because that burger was NOT in the bag. Then she told me she would refund me. I got my refund and left. This is not the first time I have had issues or encountered rudeness at this location, we will not be returning. Bad service, and half the time they are out of things we are trying to order (our last visit they were out of chicken and...
