The Autumn Spice milkshake is the most delicious beverage I've ever had in my 24 (nearly 25) years of existence. When the Greeks were talking about ambrosia, they meant the Autumn Spice milkshake, they just didn't know it at the time. My very first sip was an experience unlike no other. As I rode the cool, creamy vanilla waves I felt my face being lightly peppered by the cookie crumbles. Then, a jolt of electricity - I liken to the shock Spider Man felt once he'd been bitten. I had entered another dimension, transcending these earthly realms via a metamorphosis. I ensure you I was not the same after that sip. I had matured, and evolved. My tastebuds were awoken by a myriad of flavors that I didn't know were possible. I sang notes that have not yet been discovered.
As you can imagine, it was with great sadness that I visited this Chick-fil-A in Mauldin on 11-7-22 and was informed that they no longer had the supplies to make the very beverage that has enlightened me. Panic set in, but I maintained composure as I drove off, parking my car in a nearby empty parking lot. It was with shaky hands I called the Chick-fil-A in Simpsonville to ask a very simple question: "Do you still have the Autum Spice milkshake?"
Their response?
"Yes ma'am."
Everything after that was a blur. Naturally I procured the milkshake from the Simpsonville store in record time, driving Tokyo Drift style along the way. I was greeted with prompt, friendly service as always, and after I'd placed my order, I drove around to the window, fingers twitching in excitement. And let me tell you once that first sip of Autumn Spice entered body, I received yet again a dose of serotonin that fuels me in ways my 40 MG of Prozac never can. Perhaps this experience was especially riveting due to the near crippling anxiety I felt when I was told that I may never again taste the most beautifully curated beverage in the world.
Nevertheless, I have been made whole. This is an experience I shan't soon forget. Let them not try to understand me, for this is something that cannot be explained. I will impatiently await September 12, 2023, a day that may mark the potential return of the Autumn Spice milkshake. Until then, I will continue to dream a better dream, and partake in the earth's other natural wonders: rivers, rolling pastures, beaches, and woods. Though they pale in comparison to the Autumn Spice milkshake, I must allow myself to be content with this much. If not... how else...
Read moreMy husband and I come.througj drive thru last night and ordered on our lunch break. We stopped going to Chick-fil-A altogether because they keep messing up our orders, but McDonald's was crazy and we didn't have time to wait. I ordered a chicken deluxe sandwich meal and him the spicy deluxe meal. I received a regular sandwich which was also lukewarm at best and so was his, the fries were hod awful and cold. I called to three times with no answer which is nothing new they never answer when they screw up. I was not given a receipt again nothing new, I usually have to ask for it but was rushed last night and didn't. I know this review is falling on deaf ears because the manager there is to concerned about being better than the other stores, I have heard him say that. The owner is about the same way. It's get them in and out and who cares if we screw up, we will not fix it and they don't. We used to eat at Chick-fil-A 6 days a week but when they just kept screwing something up every order, we were like no more. Example chicken burrito, he would have to eat with a fork 85% of the time because as soon as he opens wrapper it would fall apart, one time chicken was not fully cooked, no apology, just another burrito, another man was up there complaining about his chicken not being done, I ordered a milkshake no chery, I can't eat cherry. They put one on there anyway and when they noticed they just took it off and gave to me. The whip cream still had cherry juice. I am allergic, they wouldn't make me a new one. I just gave to my husband. That was the last straw for me, but again if McDonald's was so slow we wouldn't even...
Read moreI just had came here today specifically in preference for chickfilas soup because I enjoy their soup a lot and I had been feeling under the weather physically the last two days. I figured since I was sick and the doctor didn’t give me much insight and knowing I should try to eat something else as well, I wanted to get a wrap. I had been getting the grilled chicken wrap the last years but I was leaning to try something with different vegetables because I understand the different nutrients in them. I figured I could add grilled chicken to it but claire the women at the drive through was explaining they weren’t customizable and I didn’t understand because I know chickfila usually would do anything to please their customers. After briefly talking to Claire she explained to me that the wraps were premade and I told her that was all she had to say and I understand and I wasn’t angry at all and I ordered the wrap and nuggets on the side. They ended up giving me everything for free and I didn’t understand why but I know it was a blessing from god himself. Claire and the manager who I spoke to, I believe her name was meliah were so much help. I didn’t say anything prior to them blessing me but I have been in recovery from anorexia and that is why I lean to eat the different variety of vegetables as well. God bless this company and everyone involved....
