Cucho's Taco Grille — Restaurant in Mauldin

Had no clue this place existed until sitting in traffic near it's entrance recently. It's set back off the main road a bit, behind the Cookout and the Waffle House. We Googled it & discovered that they have take out via drive thru & online ordering. Those convenience factors led us to give it a try one day for lunch. Now it's our new favorite Mexican restaurant in the area! We waited less time in the drive thru for food we ordered on the spot than we do at some fast food restaurant chains. The girl at the window was super friendly, our food was as fresh as it gets and authentic! The tacos were absolutely amazing - a bargain of a meal at less than $10/pp & we were sufficiently full. Really impressed with this place and grateful...

REALLY good food. Convenient drive thru option. Inside theres a salsa bar. The fish tacos are so far the best I can find, just wish they panco breaded them so they had that crunch like the shrimp tacos (which is by far my favorite thing I've tried! That's saying a LOT because I don't eat shell fish, ever!) I did get it without mango (allergy reasons) but I squeezed lime and added cilantro crema sauce...excellent! Coworker had a cuban bowl and said it was very good with pablano ranch and cilantro crema sauce mixed in it. Can't wait to try other items on the menu, definitely going to be a frequent...

mixed up our order with another family. tried calling the location (Mauldin) to get it made right but it goes straight to a voicemail that's not setup. call the other location, they promised to get in touch with the location that messed up our order. never got a call back. went to the location that screwed up the order. wait to get it fixed. miss time with the family while waiting, get "aww shucks" response and a joke that the other family who's order got mixed into ours had to come in as well. no responsibility, no ownership, same food you can get other places that don't treat their mistakes...
