At first when I pulled in and entered the waiting area at the Madison Local Burger King I was unimpressed. It was clean and welcoming but there was nothing to distinguish it from any other Burger King in Ohio OR Pennsylvania. But then he made himself known and I have never been the same since, Zander Ambros.
Zander walked up from the counter making eye contact. His beautiful Hazel eyes looking into the depth of my very being. And he said those magical words. "Hi Welcome to Burger King, how may I take your order?" I was swooning with excitement by those words but I had to keep my composure.
I had to say something, anything really! After thinking for a few seconds that felt like hours I said, "Whopper". Zander put it in the machine and said, "Would you like to make that a meal for 2 more dollars?" "Naw." I said with much vril. "That'll be 5.19, for here or to go?" I previously had plans, but I just had to stay to get another good look at him. When I answered he went back to get my borger.
After seating myself at the table and looking around, the room was filled with so much color. Everything was vibrant, beautiful, every surface had a shine to it that previously wasn't there. After Zander entered my life everything became inexplicably better. Almost no time passed between me sitting down and getting my meal, Burger King is quick and concise in getting your food immediately. And the quality was spectacular and I know why.
When my food was delivered to me by some lady, I raised my Whopper to my mouth just for a taste, it was immaculate. Words cannot describe the explosion of flavors that entered my sphere. I felt immense power and refreshment from my meal. This was, without a doubt in my mind, due to Zander Ambros.
Because of the delectable taste of the Whopper that matched the same euphoria I got from seeing him. It means he had to be apart of this, in all honesty, inside this empty Burger King, in the middle of some random town in Northern Ohio. This was the closest I could get to heaven. Even thinking back on this I feel refreshed.
Leaving Burger King was rude awakening. After having paid, I looked around but I couldn't find him, even leaving through the doors I couldn't find him. I've returned their everyday since my encounter, I feel incomplete without him. I feel a dependency to be in sight of this Burger King, just to try and match this same feeling. Thank you, Zander Ambros. For making an ordinary Burger King the best experience I had in...
Read moreSo my son is a pretty serious gamer and loves just about all things internet. He loves his memes, especially one revolving around something called “Burger King foot lettuce” so naturally, when he learned that the burger king near us was THE Burger King from his beloved meme, we just had to go. I figured I would entertain the thought and would ask them about their foot lettuce special before our actual order. After a long, ominous pause waiting in the drive through, I was greeted sourly by a grainy, almost unintelligible “what did you say?” At the time, I mistook the employee’s utterance as a legitimate request for me to repeat myself, as it was certainly a challenge to hear through their speakers. I had not yet realized the wretchedness of this exchange. Naively, I repeated my request, in hopes that my boy would be pleased with whatever came next. It was then that the worker commanded us to get out in a thunderous, threatening voice. Awestruck, I hastily pulled out of the drive through in search of another fast food restaurant, as we were clearly not welcome there. My son was distraught. His favorite meme had been tarnished by this dreadful experience. These employees truly cannot take a joke, and are woefully unfit to interact with Burger King’s customers. My night was ruined knowing the inconsolable anguish my son had felt in that drive through. I only wished to entertain him, yet my ambition was spat upon by this employee’s detestable threats. I had the purest intentions of ordering afterward, but I was never given a chance. Burger King, you have lost a customer. I do not ever wish to order at this location again, now that I understand the cruel nature of its workers. For them to be so filled with fury, and to be so quick to lash out at a simple meme is truly...
Read moreI went through the drive-through at about 10:40 p.m. I made my order I received my order and the food was not hot it wasn't even hot enough to melt the cheese after leaving the restaurant eating my chicken sandwich I didn't even make it into my house before I begin to throw up it was so bad that I almost crapped my pants. I jumped in the shower immediately to take off my solied clothes still feeling sick to my stomach, brush my teeth and called Heather the manager immediately her question to me was you really think you got food poisoning from here? I explained to her that the temperature should be a certain temperature before you give anybody food and she said that they don't check it before it goes out they check it during certain time of the day ,which makes no sense. There is no question about the service at this Burger King it's going downhill fast. There's never anyone even going to this business .I never see any lines in there and I haven't been in a long time and I will not return . I explain to Heather that I would rather wait in a long line at McDonald's across the street knowing that I would get hot food versus going to Burger King where it maybe one or two cars waiting. One of the reasons why poor customer service ,bad food and this time it almost killed me. She seem to be upset with me about the food that she gave me I wouldn't have given it to my dog I feel so sick .I demanded my money back and I told her I would be calling the Health Department because someone needs to be checking that food before you give it to every person that comes to that...
