Didn't have prepaid order ready. Told to wait 5 hours.
I was traveling through this area (long away from home), and this was one of a select few stores that had a collector's doughnut (Harry Potter set), and this would be only an hour out of my way. I placed my order the night before, paying upfront. When I arrived I was told the doughnuts would be ready in 5 hours (after the scheduled pick-up time). The staff said that the overnight shift frequently ignores work orders and leaves morning staff playing catch up. The people I spoke with in person were nice enough, but the overall experience was awful, and considering I was told that it was a frequent occurrence I would highly caution future customers.
UPDATED: Per the Owner's Response/Request, I visited the page to provide the detail feedback (within 2 hours of the Owner's response), and after about a day I canned response of, "We are sorry to hear that your experience was less than amazing. We appreciate you taking the time to let us know. Your delivery refund has been processed. Please know that it may take 5 to 7 business days for the refund to be reflected with your financial instituation. [sic]" , showing now care for the notable inconvenience... such as when the morning staff arrived and knew that the order would not be ready, had they contacted me (either by phone or text), I could have re-routed and saved an hour of my life... nope. You guys send us a promotion to for the 2nd saying come between 5-7 to get a hot glaze donuts for $7.99. Me and my fiancé make plans i placed a online order to be picked up at 5:15pm she went to the chick fil a up the street and came back at 5pm no light was on but around 510pm the light came on my fiancé goes into the location and although the light was on there were no donuts being made she asked the manager and she said the light was on at 3pm and they just cut it off but the promotion says between 5-7 she then lied and said the promotion was not for hot donuts and for any donut in the store she then told her she didn’t know how long it would take before returning and saying we would have to wait another 45 mins so explain how a 5:15 mobile order turns into a 7pm pickup time we then got a refund only to see the donut cook outside getting shoes from his mom instead of making the donuts i’m sure this won’t be the only complaint but do u guys even care i would like to be contacted and compensated for this 2nd horrible experience on top of the fact she spent 40 mins waiting while our food got cold in the car this is ridiculous and something needs to be done i will be posting this any and everywhere i...

Place an online order for pickup the following day, just to drive 30 minutes to be told they haven’t had the ingredients to make the Harry Potter donuts in 2 weeks and their latte machine is broken. Asked for a return and stated a phone call would have been nice. The manager was an absolutely miserable person, who has no business working with the public. She starts yelling at me that she did call, I just didn’t answer the call. Told her I did not have any missed call so she didn’t call. Continues to yell at me, saying don’t tell her what she did, because she did call. Next she shows me my order ticket and her phone and says “isn’t that your number?” I said “yes on the order that’s my number but not on your phone because you dialed incorrect and the last number is wrong”. This sets her off an another tantrum and is again yelling at me in front of other customers. Finally after 30 minutes I received a email stating my credit card is being refunded, hopefully that actually happens. Krispy Kreme should be embarrassed to have such a person working for them, especially in management. As a first time customer we will never again visit a business with such poor customer service and we still have tried...
