Im really critical when it comes to pizza because I love it and managed a shop for awhile...when calling this place the guy on the phone doesnt know anything about pizza. I asked what is the Clevelands best pizza sauce... He says "its pizza sauce, its like a tomatoe paste" Red flag! Clevelands best pizza sauce is tamatoe paste?! After trying the pizza, I can say its not the worst ive ever had but its definitely not better than dominoes... When you're local you should take pride in your sauce, thats what seperates you from everyone else. When the guy answering the phone sounds like he doesnt know anything thats special about your pizza or sauce "its just pizza sauce" uhhh ok... They put pizza sauce in pizza? Really?!? I had no idea... Embarassing. Mozarella sticks delivered with cold marinara sauce? 15 wings overcooked with 1 ranch dipping sauce? How many wings did you think I could dip into that one small ranch before it was gone? 4 maybe 6 if im lucky... You do realize people dont order a pizza, wings and mozzarella sticks for just one person? Goodness gracious. If you're local pizza shop you should never say your sauce is a pizza sauce. You should say "its all made in house from scratch with fresh ingredients from a secret recipe".
Hard times fall on us all. I hope you can do something with this review and return to your roots. My wife told me this place used to be good some years ago. But I wont be ordering from here again...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy first time trying vegan pizza and honestly I wasn't impressed. The color of the cheese really threw me off and it just had an odd taste. My review though isn't about the fact that I tried vegan pizza, but more about the overall feeling I got from the place. First the young woman who answered the phone clearly had no clue what she was doing and that became even more apparent when we went to pick up the pizza and the other woman working with her was clearly annoyed with the younger woman. Problem is between the younger woman being clueless and the second woman having an attitude I found myself not wanting to be in the place at all. The pizza is expensive and honestly I am not sure for what. Yes there were a lot of veggies on the pizza, but they were minuscule. I wasn't impressed at all and with all the pizza places around you can do better. I like to frequent a place that I feel actually wants me as a customer. I just felt like I was bothering them. No thanks.
This addition is for the owner. Your rather plastic response leaves me even colder. Why would I give you my business when you clearly didn't seem all that concerned with what I wrote? I am starting to understand why your employees don't seem to care about the customers when you yourself respond with such a tone deaf response. You have given me no incentive to try your pizza again and I will stay with places that actually value...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOrdered the Baked Buffalo, size large. Didnāt tell me until I looked at the pizza when I came to pay that they were out of the blue cheese crumbles that are supposed to be sprinkled on top of the pizza (after I asked where it was). I would have preferred they tell me this upon ordering it. Was still charged the full $25 even though the pizza was missing an ingredient, the ingredient that actually made me order the pizza in the first place. This pizza is expensive! Next time if I decide to go back, Iāll double check if they have all the ingredients to make this pizza.
Edit: The pizza was delicious so donāt let that deter you from trying it but I still donāt appreciate the dishonesty or trying to make things right by reducing the price. I gather that the price of the pizza was estimated due to the ingredients that it takes to prepare it, if youāre out of an ingredient, the price should be readjusted to match what the customer...
