Amory's Tomb Brewing Co. — Restaurant in Maynard

Really small awkward space inside, looks like they stuck a brewery in an old storefront. There are picnic tables in a small area outside though. Can’t really get much to eat here. Tried a few different beer styles, overall beer here is just okay, drinkable. Barley wine was too boozy rather than flavorful. The owners are more interested in political activism and speaking to only one far side of political beliefs rather than focusing on a business that’s all inclusive to all customers and on brewing beer thats enjoyable enough for customers to want to come back. We don’t care about your politics, we just want to have a beer in a comfortable space. Based on principles and a mediocre experience anyway we will not again patronize this business. There are far better breweries...

Update 10/4/24:

The music has definitely improved. We went there a few Fridays ago had a very chill environment. The taco truck is amazing. The vibe was definitely much better. Would still like to see some loggers and Pilsner on the menu, but I’ll take what I can get. I like the man bun, but would like to change it up.

PS, and we were super impressed to see that the owners addressed the inappropriate child behavior in the beer garden. Come on parents, we are all there to chill. Keep your kids under control.

Ambiance is poor with the heavy metal music…not chill vibes.

My wife and I have been here several times to both the taproom and the beer garden. I find the beer to be great and especially like the fact that they have lighter beers – not all death by IPA.

The only issue I have is the music that is played in both the tap room and the beer garden. I personally find nothing relaxing or do I want to chill out to metal music. There have actually been a few times where I would’ve stayed for another beer but had to leave because the music is so annoying. I am not sure how many people find it relaxing on a Friday after work to sit down and crack open a great beer but to listen to such...
