McDonald's — Restaurant in McAllen

Amazing customer service from the moment I walked in. I was greeted by a worker named Bridgette. She was so friendly and said good morning thank you for coming to McDonalds it's a pleasure having you today. The cashier took my order and I asked about the woman who greeted me at the door and she didn't know who I was talking about so I pointed her out. Cashier says to me "oh she works out there on the floor". I told her she was outstanding and made me feel so welcomed from the moment I walked in. It didn't end there, this woman Bridgette I could hear her friendly tone, she was helping people who were sitting down already and she was picking up trays of people trash throwing it away immediately upon them leaving. She would tell them to have a wonderful day and thanking them again for coming. She did this to everyone. She has such charisma, dedication and love for serving others and making us feel like we mattered. Before I left, I was sure to speak to the GM Ester Tijerina about this woman Bridgette and thanked Ms. Tijerina for her wonderful hard worker that completely made my morning. You have hit a home run hiring this worker. She is truly a gem in your restaurant. Keep up the Great work!!! I definitely look forward to going to THIS McDonalds. Upon entering the establishment, we did not receive a warm greeting or acknowledgment from the staff, which was slightly disappointing. It is understandable that employees may have off days, but a welcoming atmosphere is crucial in the hospitality industry.

Upon approaching the electronic menu with the card swiper and deciding what to order, my children and I proceeded to the cashier to place our order. The cashier appeared disinterested and unenthusiastic, which detracted from the overall experience. After paying for our meal, we were disheartened to discover that the food was served cold and the portions, particularly the fries and McFlurries, were noticeably smaller than expected.

The contrast in service and quality of food was evident when we visited the neighboring Chick-fil-A. Their efficient service, warm hospitality, and consistency in delivering top-notch food reaffirmed our commitment to dine at establishments that prioritize customer satisfaction. Moving forward, we will be frequenting Chick-fil-A with our friends and family for a more enjoyable...

Every single time that we order any food at this specific location is as issue with the order. Today was the last drop of the cup . I’m done with this place. I just placed an order that once again came wrong. Cheese Burger cold. I asked ( not for free) for extra lettuce, picles and onions and off course wasn’t added. My fries cold and salty. Chicken nuggets cold and taste rancid oil. Why ? Why they don’t do a good job. I don’t know how many times we complained. One of their manager ( a lady) got an attitude with my daughter when she placed an order and they served a burger ( my daughter never ordered a red meat burger, she doesn’t eat red meat. She ordered a chicken breast one) and she ordered a tea and the serve a Doctor Pepper soda. Horrible service. Frustrating that we go to have a good time and ended up mad. The food does not digest the way is supposed to. I wish to have the opportunity to show the corporate office all the sloppy things this McDonald...
