⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing service, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere—this brunch spot really exceeded our expectations!

Huge shout-out to Chris, the manager, for going above and beyond. He was incredibly patient, made sure his staff was well-trained, and checked in on us multiple times to ensure we had everything we needed. His attention to detail and customer care made a big difference.

The drinks were also a highlight—great variety of coffee flavors and mimosas. We especially loved the banana nut latte and the amber mimosa. So good!

And now the food—wow. Hands down the best eggs Benedict we’ve ever had, made with flavorful carnitas. The steak and eggs were also a hit—the steak was juicy and perfectly seasoned.

While they don’t have a specific kids’ menu, they offered great options like pancakes, eggs, waffles, and the winner for our girls—French toast with banana and Nutella. They loved every bite!

When the omelet turned was a bit too spicy, the staff offered to remake it right away, no questions asked. That kind of service is rare and truly appreciated.

Highly recommend this place for your next brunch outing with friends and it’s family- friendly. We’ll definitely be...

I can't get enough of Santo Pecado! The food here is just fantastic. I've had the omelette twice now for brunch on a Saturday and it was delicious both times. Also tried the belgian waffle and french toast, both delicious.

Today, I went for lunch and tried the linguine with roasted poblano sauce and added chicken. It was amazing! My husband had the pistachio-crusted salmon risotto, and it was out of this world. I didn't care for the balsamic drizzle on the risotto, so I'll ask them to leave that out next time. It is hard to find good risotto, but this place has two dishes on the menu and it is cooked perfectly.

A couple of weeks ago, my husband tried the carnitas tacos and couldn't stop talking about how great they were.

The service is also top-notch. The staff is super friendly and attentive, which makes the whole dining experience even better.

Have not tried the drinks at the bar yet, but it looks well stocked.

If you're in McAllen and looking for some awesome food, I highly recommend checking out Santo Pecado. You won't be...

We've been to this restaurant a few times now, but my experience with Bentley as our waiter today was by far the best! He gave great recommendations for both our food and drinks, and took amazing care of our table the entire time. Breakfast was just incredible. We had chilaquiles and tres leches pancakes that were absolutely perfect, paired with some really good lattes. The food was top-notch as always, so big props to the cooks in the back. The atmosphere felt like it was a little strange/a bit off this time. It honestly felt like Bentley was the only employee scheduled for server duty because we barely saw anyone else around. It didn’t affect our service, but it definitely made the place feel like they're cutting back. Hopefully this isn't a sign of a recession or slowing business times, so I just wanna encourage people to try it out at least once. Overall, still a great spot that I'd wanna go back to try more of their menu. Great service by Bentley, great food from the back, would...

This is definitely a place for the vibe. But the food could be better. $5 for chips and 1 oz of salsa, don’t recommend. Coffees were good. Would like to try more of them. Chilaquiles looked promising. But the salsa was a bit too much to be able to enjoy the full dish (spice levels were on the higher side, I prefer if the spiciness doesn’t sacrifice the flavor). The green salsa that came with the chips would’ve been a much better choice for this dish. The steak, definitely do not recommend. Asked for a medium, got it well done. Asked server if we could get it redone to medium, and while they agreed without issues the second iteration was rare. Decided to just go with it, but the meat was tough and bland. No flavor was present whatsoever(not even salt), which was surprising since it’s labeled in the menu as marinated(rest of plate was okay). Would like to come back and try other stuff. But I feel like they focus more on the visual aspect than the flavor aspect of the meals.

I recently visited this restaurant with my boyfriend, and while the atmosphere was absolutely beautiful—cozy yet elegant—my dining experience left something to be desired. The food, unfortunately, was served cold, which was a bit disappointing, especially given the time it took for our meals to arrive. My boyfriend got the chicken and waffles while I got the chilaquiles. My plate was a little warm, however his waffles were already turning hard! I think it may have been a timing issue. While we waited, it seemed like other tables were getting their plates much quicker. On a positive note, our waitress was so sweet (didn’t get her name but she had long red hair and tattoos, very beautiful) and the coffee was great—rich and flavorful, a nice touch to finish the meal. Overall, the ambiance is definitely a highlight, but the food service and temperature need some improvement.

Stopped by Santo Pecado to see what all the hype is about with all these bars opening up it gets harder for these smaller bars to stand out but Santo Pecados emphasizes on quality and really stood out. I came during my lunch break for a drink and ordered an espresso tonic even though it’s a fairly simple drink I felt the love and effort put into my drink, not only that but the mixologist there, Joseph, really made me feel welcome and appreciated that I took my business there I wasn’t able to order food but I will for next time I really recommended this place for it’s quality drinks and welcoming atmosphere all the workers were friendly and welcoming I will definitely be back for more drinks and the food, ask for Joseph he will make the experience much more memorable!
