I had an issue with their app and was confused about their promotion. Peter was very helpful and very patient explaining to me how it worked.
Service is great most of the time... the only thing I do have to say is that their morning employees should maybe get a bit more training because my morning coffees are never consistent. I always order the same coffee and sometimes it's too sweet and others is just perfect. I did go on Monday, early morning around 9:30/9:40 am. I had asked for 2 "extra toasted ham and Swiss" and they were white. I also had my usual order of "brown sugar shaken expresso" and it was VERY sweet. I did tell the guy in the window, a gentelment with tattoos and a very unique name, and he kept coming up with excuses that it was the way they always made it when I kept telling him it wasnt usually that sweet. Instead of stepping up their customer service he seemed very annoyed. I told him it was my usual and it wasn't suppose to be that sweet or "light" in color, to which he kept dismissing me. They eventually "fixed it" but it still wasn't right so I just took it. This was my first time going and him being at the drive thru window.
A gentelmen, one who has a beard and mustache and wears glasses, he is usually there at the drive-thru window and is always such a sweet heart and always in such a good mood. More people like him should be at the drive-thru instead of employees who just seem irritated. Not a very good start to my morning...
Read moreI enjoy getting breakfast and tea at Starbucks and this location is closest to me on my way to work so I continue to go but I have been pretty let down consistently on quality. The staff is nice but they're always out of stuff. I've had to call them after getting an order wrong and get comped on it which is nice but it sucks that I didn't get what I ordered. They do have a lot of flies inside. I once found a fly in my tea. I have had orders wrong, they don't have stuff like black tea, I'll order a bagel toasted and it'll come back cut totally uneven and their toaster appears to not be working properly since it usually comes back looking like it hadn't been touched, also they would give me fat free cream cheese (which tastes absolutely disgusting, like it's expired) without asking me and now I have to always check to see if I got regular, and they sometimes forget my order in the drive thru and they tend to be on the slower side in taking orders lately. They are willing to fix a problem when I tell them but I just wish I wouldn't have a problem to begin with. Just sucks when you something wrong cause it can make a good day bad and a bad day worse. Read moreEvery single time i go to Starbucks on 7017 N 10th St. McAllen, texas I order a Venti Iced Chai latte with light ice. I pay 4.32 every single time for them to mess it up. They put extra ice as if it was joke when I said Light Ice please. And on top of that they put extra milk on it so you can not even taste the chai. This is the only one that is on my way to work. I do not have time to go back and get it exchange and spend another few minutes for them to get it right when they should have in the beginning. Starbucks is already expensive and they can not even deliver. This is horrible and ridiculous service. This why I rate a zero star but i have to rate a star to post something. I waste my money here. I'm not the only one my co workers sometime buy the same and complain about it when they get to work.
