Three employees stood talking with each other while my partner and I stood in front of the empty ice cream trays. A sign was taped to the glass partition that said they only had three flavors, but two were already scratched out.
A customer can understand technical difficulties, as we did, but there’s no excuse to be rude and not even acknowledge the people standing in front of you.
A woman walked in after us and was shown the same lack of respect.
We went next door where the doors were open and people were inside, but the employees looked at us, said they were sorry but they were closed. It was a small gesture, but it showed the level of customer service and, honestly, just plain common courtesy. We’ll likely go back to that one, but we don’t feel encouraged to come back to Cold Stone at this location.

Then some girl in a cap was giving CRAZY attitude while I ordered my bowl which she ended up giving me a bowl with a waffle cone? Maybe I made the mistake there. When my friends and I were outside, I got up to go throw trash inside. As soon as I stood up from my chair outside the same dude immediately locked the front door. I’m assuming they close at 10, seeing it was 9:57 it’s a bit weird to lock to door in front of me? I get days are long and customers are rude, but damn I was just trynna get some banana ice cream. They keep you about 30 minutes waiting in the line, very unproductive way of serving and managing orders taking forever to take orders or to charge. So finally you advance to be served and they just say, “oh sorry we ran out of strawberry ice cream”. What?
Very frustrating that the guys in the shop do not have the minimum sense of attention to the customer like to put a signal or just let know the customers in line that they do not have some flavors available.
