Wings and Rings — Restaurant in McAllen

Placed an order for our office team. Missing items and the girl we called let us know that celery and carrots are free so it's common practice to forget to include them, even though the receipt has celery listed and we called to make sure of this beforehand. I find it hard to believe that any business gives away anything for "free". I was under the impression it was part of the meal. Anyway, this isn't the basis for my review. Called in to let the Manager know of what was communicated. I was told by Zeke that his Manager stated that "she was busy and that if I wanted to talk to her to call back in 30 min". (Side note, I heard this kid calling the Manager while he placed my call on hold. "Im not sure what she wanted""No she wants to talk to Manager" to only come back to my call with "Hello ma'am, shes busy but how can I help you?"........way to deflect a situation onto a server/host, i hope he gets compensated as well for the extra work he shouldnt be doing.....great managerial practices)....Management 101, I would expect THEM to care enough to take my info and contact me. I didn't know I had to put in the work to have my concerns heard. Anywho called back 30 min later like I was instructed to, and asked for Sophia the Manager. "Sophia" came to the phone and I let her know about the issues, which she did let me know that celery and carrots sometimes weren't available that's why I didn't get them. (Strange that I could however pick them up if I drove back. Guess the magic hat wasn't working when we picked up our food 30 min prior) Here's the kicker. As I was speaking to "Sophia" I stated "Why did i have to keep calling back to get ahold of a Manager. Why couldnt someone take my information and call me back" to which she replied "Because SHE was busy". ::Cue confusion:: I said "Who was busy?". She then proceeded with "Sophia"...... ::cue skepticism:: So I said "I thought YOU were Sophia" She swiftly stood her ground and was adamant that SHE was in fact Sophia So I proceeded to ask that if it was common practice to refer to herself in third party Guess that didn't set well with her because it abruptly turned into "Is there anything else I can help you with ma'am" In hindsight I guess how can the customer expect you to remember their food when you can't even remember your names and...

Manager is the most uneducated and unprofessional person I’ve come across. Last night I went to go eat around 1 with girl friends and from the start as soon as we sat down (before even ordering or even seeing a waiter) she starts harassing us saying she needs to see all of our ids, we all were shocked and confused because we weren’t even going to order alcoholic drinks so why would you be iding someone who isn’t even getting alcohol. So we let server know and blew it off, later on this random nice guy tries to drop off some drinks he got for our table and manager and server walks towards us angrily yelling we were minors (which we’re not) saying we couldn’t accept nothing and to leave. So we start pulling our ids and she immediately says she needs to scan them and proof they’re real and then denies one of my friends saying her id is cut and she can’t accept it even though she’s 22 🤦🏻‍♀️, after that she just kept staring and walking past us. Only reason why we stayed was because our food was ready, (we got our drinks after almost finishing all of our meals) WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER, do not recommend. Been eating here for years such a shame they hire such unprofessional managers, losing 6 plus customers is better then admitting they were in the wrong...

After a day of shopping I got a little hungry and decided to give this place a try. Bad decision. I ordered garlic parmesan wings and a buffalo chicken sandwich and both were a disaster. First off I the wings were very dry and bland. This caught me off guard because I was expecting decent wings from a wings place! All I can say is if your name is buffalo wings and rings you have to be better than those pizza joints that have wings. C'mon guys I would rather order pizza hut wings over you any day. So afterwards I was really hoping for redemption with the sandwich but that too was bad.😔 the chicken was a large piece but it was paper thin bland and dry as well. At least put some seasoning on the chicken maybe some pepper or a hint of salt would have helped or the seasoning from your potato wedges for the chicken probably would have made it better. The buffalo sauce tasted like just regular Frank's red hot. Nothing wrong with franks red hot but I thought you would at least have your own sauce. The best thing from the sandwich was the brioche bun! I would have given you 1 star but your saving grace was your potato wedges which...
