Word of caution, even though they have very limited hours they are not necessarily open during their listed hours of operation. From out of town and they closed early the night we tried to stop by to pick some stuff up.
[EDIT]
Had a miscommunication on this so updating the review. The first night I wasn't the one who tried to go, but they were just closed earlier than expected. Upping this review to 3 stars, but would have loved to rate the brewery based on the product instead of unfortunately not being able to try it.
The second night was Sept. 2nd and I showed up at 5:52 hoping for some cans or a growler as this was the last McCall based brewery we hadn't tried. They had the closed sign up but there were people inside the garage area drinking so I walked in that way and the bartender...
Read moreAn awesome place! We went for just one beer and ended up grabbing some lunch and came back for another round. Even though it's been around for eight years, it's off the beaten path so it's easy to miss. Which, according to some of its patrons, is how they like it. Definitely more of a "local" vibe than other breweries in town and that is what makes it so great. Everybody (and their dogs) were super friendly and willing to share some local knowledge of the area that we rarely get anywhere else. It doesn't hurt that the beer was excellent, too! Just make sure you call to see if they're open before you go. Because it's only outside seating at the moment, their hours are dependent on the weather. Check out their website for more info. Definitely our new favorite...
Read moreOur car broke down late one Sunday morning just a few blocks from Broken Horn. In the snow. No mechanic was open. This brewery was a gift in that it was open and TJ the bartender was super welcoming and kind. We ended up staying most of the afternoon as we waited for arrangements to be made with our car. So why not have a beer and some light snacks? Both were great, especially the beer (big fan of Hefes). Wonderful people and we're super thankful. Definitely will stop again next time we're in town. Thank you...
