Okay, talk about hidden in plain sight. This amazing little gem is tucked away behind the IGA in McCaysville Georgia. The scents that lure you in do not disappoint. The ribs melt off the bone and the seasoning is amazing. The sauce is a great addition to the flavor profile, although the meat speaks for itself. The brisket is juicy and tender and dissolves and melts into your tongue. Amazing flavors and textures. The pork is tender and full of flavor. Didn't try the chicken but it looked fantastic. The Tater tots were the kids favorite by far. They sell a Tater tots hill that is loaded with pork, cheese, bbq sauce, and sour cream. Mmmm so delicious. (Ask for their spicy sauce if you can stand the heat đ). But wait there is more! They have home made desserts that are insanely delectable. The chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting is the best. The frosting is as thick as the cake for crying out loud! This place is above and beyond one of the best in the tri-state area!...
Read moreThis was so disappointing. First, when we walked in and were alerted they only had chicken & pork at a BBQ place that shouldnât been the first hint.
We sat down anyway to give it a try. My party was 9 people, and I know bigger groups take longer to serve but we were there over an hour, and the place wasnât even busy. It didnât need to take that long.
And once we got the food, it was absolutely not worth the wait. The mac n cheese was gross, basically watery noodles with fake cheese. The pulled pork was dry and no amount of barbecue could save it. The cole slaw was alright but nothing magical. Really the only thing I tried that I liked was my friends chicken caesar wrap- but this is a barbecue place, like come on.
The one good thing was our waitress was very sweet and did her best. I didnât catch her name. Really wished we wouldâve tried somewhere else to eat so we didnât waste so much time waiting, and for food that wasnât...

Service wasn't terrible, but it did take us asking again fifteen minutes after ordering for our drinks. My wife and I tried to order the brisket, and even though we were there roughly 45 minutes after opening, they had already run out. Instead she settled for the pulled pork sandwich and I got the half rack of ribs. Everything came out fast, but the taste wasn't there. The only flavor the ribs carried was from the bbq sauce, and there was hardly any on it. The meat itself was also very dry. The pulled pork tasted about on par with chains like Whitts. At least the fries were good or else we probably wouldn't have ate anything.
Not sure how long this place has been opened. I overheard our waitress saying that they were still working out the kinks, but they got a long way...
