I visited this location on the evening of March 26, 2025, with three others. The experience was disappointing from start to finish. Upon walking in, we weren’t greeted—just stared at by a man behind the counter and other staff members. We were seated quickly and given menus; however, the overall atmosphere felt unwelcoming.

Our waitress was polite enough but did only the bare minimum, and none of the staff had any warmth or hospitality. The most frustrating part was waiting nearly an hour for a drink from the bar, only for a different server to silently place it on the table and walk away without so much as a word or a smile. To make matters worse, the drink tasted awful. I took two sips before giving up on it.

Food arrived quickly, but it was nothing special and had a strange aftertaste. Midway through our meal, a waitress started cleaning nearby tables. Around 9:30 PM, while we were still eating, she even asked us to hand over our napkin dispenser so she could clean it—an incredibly rude gesture that made us feel like we were being rushed out.

As we left, the staff at the front was too busy chatting and laughing to acknowledge us, let alone thank us for dining there. The overall cleanliness was also an issue—the booths, walls, and decor were visibly dusty, making it clear that upkeep isn’t a priority.

My husband and I really enjoyed our dinner and look forward to our next visit. However, there are both some negative and positive comments I need to make.

My shrimp Po' Boy was great; the best fried shrimp ever! I missed having mayonnaise on the roll, though, and tried spreading the tartar sauce with my drinking straw. Not the same. Also, it would be great if the roll was carved out so that the ingredients would stay inside. I found it difficult to handle. I ate some of those wonderful shrimp by themselves. I like that it was served on half a roll and came with a nice serving of fries; not a mountain of them? I ate it all. My husband's Thursday Special was great, and he couldn't eat nearly all of it.

The other comment concerns one of the other servers; not ours. We understand that young people like holes in their jeans, but this guy's were shredded. The worst issue was that they were hanging much to low; under his rump. In my mind this is totally unprofessional and unacceptable, especially in an otherwise nice restaurant. We are in our late eighties, have traveled a good bit and eaten in some fine restaurants, as well as fast food places, and never had we seen this. Some of my children have worked in food service as managers, one of them as GM at a five-star restaurant, and I can tell you that they would be appalled, as was I. Our experience was subpar to say the least the food tasted decent and even the servers were kind but the restaurant was as cold inside as it was outside and it's 32 degrees out. On top of that our waitress didn't understand our order so when the check came we had questions. My order and my son's order was correct and good. My wife's order was tasty but over charged because the waitress thought my wife wanted extra corn and potatoes in her order which isn't what was asked for. My wife asked if she could substitute two eggs that was in her meal for a potatoe and a corn instead the waitress up charged the meal by adding extra corn and potatoes and when asked about it she seemed lost. She went to talk to someone who I can only assume was the manager to only get told to tell us that she could take the remaining food that my wife has already eaten back and they could take the extra charge off of the order. There was no resolve to the issue as I didn't want to argue any further I just paid and we left. I don't understand why they would treat their customers this way especially since I wasn't asking for free food just for the 4 dollar upcharge that was wrongfully put on our meal to be taken off. And for them to ask for food back that has already been touched, eaten, and put in a to go bag is insane to me and if I'm not mistaken a health code violation. We will...
