This place is just amazing. When I lived up north we didn't have any Hobby Lobby, so when I moved here and discovered this place I had to be careful I didn't bankrupt us on everything. I could literally (if I was wealthy or even well to do) buy every single item they sell and i would love it and use it and make somthing or use it to decorate my house. I'm super into painting and crafts and sewing and so many other things that this place helps support by the items they sdoesnand I'm able to get into new hobbies and crafting stuff because they sell EVERYTHING you could think of to make stuff. Not everything is super well made, but it's good for someone who is just starting out. And even some people who have their own little business and make stuff and sell it can use this store to get the supplies they need to make their stuff. I can't say enough good things about this store. I wish I could seriously just buy the store and live in it. Lol. My absolute favorite thing about this place is the fact it is so chuck full of Christian stuff. I heard it's because it's a Christian owned business, or maybe it's just a southern thing, I dont care which one it is, I love having a place I can go for Christian items, books, signs, etc. Its just really refreshing to find in a world that's so against Christianity. Keep selling Christian stuff and never stop identifying as a Christian friendly store please! Hobby lobby is like a playground for a artist or hobbies or bored stay at home mom who needs projects for her kids and her to do so they domt sit on the couch watching t.v. all day. Plus the majority of the prices, especially on art supplies with the deals they always have, I won't go anywhere else even if there was so.ewhere else to shop for the same items. The pictures I added are of things I bought (the painting isle, master touch brand paper and canvas and the feather quills i made out of stuff i bought from hobby lobby, the miniatures I bought there and the wooden box.) I could post hundreds more but I figured those are good to share on here. Even if you dont know what they sell amd you are just looking for somthing creative to do, go in there amd you will be inspired to do 100 creative things. Now you just got to try not to go bankrupt buying everything you see....... lol good luck and God bless! The struggle is real, you'll be in my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI will never walk back into this store. Several months ago a ācustomer service managerā aka āThe Cash keeperā literally attempted to insult my intelligence as well as the cashierās intelligence when she had to approve a cash refund transaction on an item that I was returning with a receipt.
Today i needed a certain size styrofoam cone. They only had one and the end of it was broken.
When I got in line to check out, I noticed that the lady ahead of me had two transactions⦠As I was waiting, I knew that the cashier could not make the ādecisionā on how much they could sell the broken cone for, so I stepped out of line and walked over to a young lady that appeared to be a Customer Service Manager⦠I was going to show her the cone and ask if they would sell it at a discount since it was broken. I wasnāt sure if she could make that decision, but if not, she would have a few minutes to go find out before it was my turn to check out.
Now, Iām not going to get into details about her not so great attitude nor the way that she looked at me when i said ābless youā as she sneezed while i was approaching herā¦Still looking at me she said, āIām not a cashier so I cannot help you, if you have a question you need to ask your cashier.ā I was like alrighty then and got back in line to check out.
When it was my turn to checkout, I told the cashier that I was just informed that she could answer all my questions⦠and asked her how much she could sell the cone for since it was broken.
The other girl then walked over and tried to say that she didnāt say that and she was sorry that I took it that way⦠but told the cashier that she could give me 10%. I told the cashier that they could keep it and that this would be the very last time that i walked into this storeā¦
I will order online or go to Hammond to shopā¦.which makes it extremely difficult. And Iāve learned thereās no reason to contact corporate because they just pass down problems and complaints back to the store and obviously...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOne day, not too long ago I parked my pickup and proceed to take a nap. About an hour or two into my slumber I was awakened by one of McCombs finest asking me what I was doing. I told her I was taking a safety nap and that was better than driving tired and possibly causing an accident. So while I was minding my own business the manager of this store felt it her place to bother me and mine and possibly causing me to cause an unfortunate mishap so consider that when you visit this place. Getting into other people's business is the beginning of injustices in...
