They have changed the entrance yet no signs for directions... no sanitizer available and no station for sanitizer.
Three weeks ago my husband bought me $1000+ Diamond ear rings. When I tried to put on the backs would not come off. After awhile we succeeded but could not get back on. I drove 25 miles one way back to Belk to get them replaced. The clerk said all you do Is put post in hole...after two others trying and failed. I wanted another pair of something...these were for my 70th birthday . They did not have so I picked out another pair clip backing instead of post. Well one of those was broken and offered to order and mail Ok. We walked over to children’s department with the only register open. Left the return ear rings and and she gave her instructions to return and order new ones. I was 5 in line and I let several go ahead of me cause I knew mine would be time consuming. Putting it mildly. The clerk had no clue what to do. I guess having a bad day she had already griped at several customers...well I had to go find the other clerk that had helped me bring her to this register to help clerk complete transaction. This is crazy. Time consuming ........
Today when I found the proper entrance no sanitizer nothing. I collected several items and went to check out. Ladies no one ..plus no one ..jewelry no one. These had signs stating closed. Cosmetic no one no sign. Went to houseware no sign and no one. Another lady ask me if I knew where a checker was. I told her I was having the same problem. I called the store to ask where we could get checked out. The lady said the men’s department was always open......No signs or placards sating such and She said cosmetic had two ladies. Well by now I was in the long line at men’s....I repeated the phone lady about two checkers in cosmetic and was overheard by another customer getting in line and said that was a lie no no no one was at the register. We then heard a loud speaker announcement about men’s register was open.
Men’s department.....The young black girl was checking as fast as she could without help. I looked around and a clerk was standing by the west entrance talking on cell And waving customers to check out at men’s. This was after I had called store and we heard an announcement that men’s were open for checking. This lady need to come and help this young lady check out customers and quit talking on cell and laughing and cutting up. This store has totally failed in customer satisfaction and getting worse every...
Read moreI took my grandson shopping, since it was a big sale going on for Father's Day. The sales were terrific and goes on til 11:59 p.m. Belk has excellent quality and therefore anything I have ever bought from there has lasted in great shape for years! The personnel are extremely helpful and efficient. I was shocked as to what the skeleton crew working together today. It was difficult to find a young male employee To assist my grandson today. Coats and pants were on terrific sale, plus order on line , you get even more off by using a coupon and by ordering $49 worth and you get shipping and handling. It was mind boggling the disarray the clothes were in...on the floor, all out of order and not one of Pants was put in sequence on the rack. Kos, ruled the day. Please keep in mind, all other times that I have been there have been no Problem...and today was unusual. Read moreI received a nice Seiko watch from my husband for Christmas. I took it out of the box to wear it and it didn't work. I took it to the store (my husband threw out the receipt) on Dec. 27th to get it repaired. They had to send it off because they couldn't check the batteries at the store. I was told it would be sent on the Monday, Dec. 30th truck and that it should be gone a week. I tried to call today (one week later) and I cannot get a person to pick up the phone. I have tried fashion jewelry twice, fine jewelry once and I even called the manager's number, all to no avail. I'm certain the watch is not back, but I still would like to check on the status. I cannot believe how unprofessional this is. I am very upset because I usually love the store and I shop there quite often. They need to get on the ball over there, the phone is just as much a part of the business as the in-person...
