I want to start by saying that I am a lifelong Arby's fan. I long for the glory days of the 5 for $5.
Unfortunately though, it has been years since I've had a good experience at ANY of the Arby's that I've visited around the metroplex or beyond. Dine in or drive-thru, it seemed like any time I went I'd be somehow let down no matter what.
But no longer!
I had an excellent experience dining inside of this Arby's with my family. We stopped on a whim for dinner during our drive home Labor Day evening and I am so glad that we did.
We were greeted instantly and genuinely upon entry. The establishment was sparkling clean. The sauce dispensers were full. Our order was 100% correct and the roast beef on my sandwich was, no joke, piping hot (like I wish that I had recorded the steam coming off of it). The curly fries were crisp and the cheddar was plentiful. My children even enjoyed the toys that came along with their meal! Best of all, the employees didn't seem depressed to be there. The woman who was taking drive-thru orders and appeared to be in charge was especially personable (I wish that I had gotten her name).
This Arby's has given me hope for the future. There can truly exist a world where the Beef 'N Cheddars of today are just as succulent as those of my memories. Can't wait...
Read moreSince the day it was built, and it has probably been here for about 3 years now, I have not once received a meal that was good here. For the longest time, I kept trying to come back every 6 months or so to see if things were better, but they never were. There is always something wrong with the food either it is old, dry, or just something off with the taste.
Eventually, I gave up on this place. If I do go to Arby's, I make the drive to a different location even though this one is the closest to my home. It is a shame because I was really looking forward to having an Arby's close by.
As far as service goes, I have always ordered drive thru and the staff has been friendly with no issues there. Maybe the problem is that they do not get enough traffic to keep the food fresh, but serving old, dried up food means I will not be coming back. It makes me wonder how many other people won't go there for the same reason. I rarely see cars in the...
Read moreI worked at an Arby’s a long time ago. I know things have changed and I hadn’t gotten it in a while. But i decided to give it a try since it’s been so long. I ordered my favorite item: smokehouse brisket. I didn’t receive a smokehouse brisket. It was dry, no sauce, no cheese, no fried onions. It was shredded dry meat. The chicken was cold. And so thin in a part it’s was over cooked. This being my second favorite was another disappointment. The portion of roast beef on the regular sandwich was not good. Not sure if it’s changed but that felt like a rip off. They shoved everything into one large bag. This I know is not how things are done. Due to the issue of number 4 EVERYTHING was squished. I didn’t receive the as sue that comes with the French dip. The French dip hand one piece of cheese on it. The good: The apple turnover is exactly like I remember. The orange cream shake, curly fries and mots...
