I really like Crumbl and if I could give them 4.5 stars, that would be my preference. I love the bajillion flavors that they cycle thru (you HAVE TO download their app. It's like cookie treats for your eyes). I also like how clean and bright their stores are and that you cab watch them baking as you wait! I'd say about 75% of the flavors are awesome. I figure we all have different tastes so maybe everyone would like 3/4 of the cookies they make. Some of my favorites, in order from 1st place and lower, are: pumpkin pie, pumpkin roll, peanut butter jamwich, PB&J (although I wish it was strawberry jelly instead of raspberry), waffle, peach cobbler, peaches and cream, buttermilk pancake, cookie butter lava, snickerdoodle cupcake, molten lava, peanut butter brownie, banana cream pie, blueberry muffin cookie, buckeye, caramel apple, chocolate crunch (reminded me of StarCrunch), chocolate mallow cupcake, smores cookie, churro, cinnamon pretzel, French toast, frosted strawberry pop-tart, lemon cupcake, lemon glaze, maple cinnamon roll, maple glaze, mint brownie, pecan pie, peppermint bark, pumpkin cake, strawberry cake, and strawberry crumb cake.
Yes, that's probably about 75%, if not less!! I LOVE it when they have a mystery cookie. Definitely worth a stop in.
Here's why I can't give it 5 stars: You can only buy packs of 1, 4, and larger. I'd love it if packs of 3 were an option. I WISH WISH WISH they would serve combo boxes, of MINI cookies!! Like, I would buy 8-10 mini cookies (or a dozen?) even if they were already chosen and packaged up!!! When you pick up a hot cookie and eat it, your hand is covered in grease. Maybe this can't be helped, since, well, they're hot fresh cookies. Still, it makes my brain think they're...
Read moreGloppy mess and overpriced. These are obviously not fresh, since they were refrigerated. I bit into one cookie and it was close to being frozen. Not good! And when they defrost, they sweat causing the gloppy soggy mess that they were. The overly argumentative General Manager apologized to me for me not knowing the serving procedures. He seemed more interested in arguing than problem solving. He was probably the Captain of the Debate Team in high school. You go girl!
Customers wanted a fresh out of the oven experience, not a soggy mess. Texture is everything when it comes to cookies! Needs improvement!!!
The debate team Captain refused to provide his superiors name. In another smart mouth moment he told me he was going to notify corporate about me. Well Lady Daaaaaa! Chalk up another debate victory for the debate queen!
No sooner did I finish this review when I began feeling queasy. I had to run and puke in the closest sink!! I kid you not. I knew something was wrong with the first bite. They are recycling the unsold cookies, back in the fridge or freezer to thaw out the next day. You cannot do that with dairy. Food poisoning is no joke, it can hurt or kill you. Correct whatever your...
Read moreThe issue is not with the cookies; they consistently taste great.
However, the service is a significant problem. I have ordered online multiple times and faced repeated issues, whether it's them being unable to find my order or delays because they don’t prepare it in advance. I expect my order to be ready for pick-up when I arrive, but that has rarely been the case. This level of service is incredibly frustrating, especially since this is the only Crumbl location near me. You need to reevaluate your operational system, as the current situation reflects poor customer service.
Additionally, I have experienced numerous delays with delivery orders. The app often indicates that my order is either on the way or still being prepared, but after two hours, I find myself calling the store only to be met with confusion from the staff regarding my order. Even after providing them with my order number, they remain unable to locate it. It's clear that there is a significant issue at this location that needs immediate attention. Whether it’s related to your system, employee training, or a combination of both, something...
