Dunkin' — Restaurant in McKinney

I do not visit DD on a regular basis but when I do, it's at the request of my family who wants me to bring them a dozen donuts. I went here on a Christmas afternoon, only to find very TWO employees there, who not only didn't even want to be there but had ZERO knowledge of any questions I asked them that day. I do not know what kind of donuts are offered here and when I asked why there wasn't a pictured description posted up at the order screen, nobody knew why and nor did they care. When I asked to speak with a manager, it WASN'T to complain about the poor, disregarded service I was receiving. I asked to speak with a manager to recommend the company actually put SOMETHING visual up on the ordering board, so people like me can actually order a variety of dozen donuts... The response however I got from the two little girls there was, "There is no manager even here. It's just us and they aren't gonna know either." Because of this, I unfortuantley held up the line, while the little girl told me what donuts they had [left]. She then went to go assemble a box [while bad mouthing me to the second employee there] I heard them through the open drive-thru window... A lot of time wasted in my opinion, frustration for both of us and not very good business sense as well. I believe I have been to another DD location before and there was a picture donut menu posted but why this location had nothing or only two employees working and NO manager at all...

I hardly ever write reviews but this time I find it necessary! This morning I stopped by for some donuts and hit chocolate with my son and grand kids and I have to say the young man in the counter helped us a lot being very patient with the boys and being courteous, after we got the hot chocolate the boys went up the counter to ask go some creamer Gage the young man ( hope I’m spelling it right) was nice and was going to give them a cup that had about 4/5 creamers when all of sudden from behind him a man tells at him yanking the cup from his hand yellin “ DONT GUVE THEM CUP, THEY DONT NEED A CUP!!” That made me and the boys feel really bad for him when he was only trying to be nice! I just need to say Majid (That’s the name he gave me) needs to have a better attitude towards the employees and be proud of the nice customer service Gage has!! He needs to...

This is a solid Dunkin' Donuts franchise. I often go here because they have yet to be out of anything that I have ordered. Some of the other DD locations around DFW seem to have trouble with this. It just feels strange to order a donut from a place with 'donut' in the name and have them tell you they ran out. Still, donuts are a tough sell in this area. Independent donut shops exist in practically every strip mall around here and they are usually delicious... so yeah don't go to Dunkin for the donuts - We go for the egg and cheese on a croissant and a local favorite - the kolache- which they do pretty well.
