Where do I begin? I had to give at least a star when it should have been ZERO stars. I drove up and ordered, food it quickly arrived and everything was fine, until...I realized they served me tater tots instead of fries. No big deal, I flagged down the car hop attendant to let her know about the mistake. She said she would be right back with the fries. 5 minutes later she comes back and says the fryer is being cleaned would I like to wait a few minutes for fresh fries. Sure, no big deal, right...15 minutes later I see her leaving for the day and gets in her car, after she passes by me looking at me. I then see another worker named, Vanessa outside. I approach her and let her know the deal. She apologizes, says that her coworker said I left instead of waiting for the fries. By now, it's been almost 20 minutes, food is cold and guess what, still no fries because now the report is the fryer is BROKEN! Vanessa asks me if I would like ice cream. No, at this point just some fresh food. I hand her my bag for her to replace. I wait another 6-7 minutes and another car hop person arrives with my food. All of a sudden there are fries and what appears to be warm food. Get home, and clearly can tell the food was just REHEATED and fries were almost like they were picked up from the floor. Gross, never again will I eat from this lousy place. No regard for humans, forget...

The car hops are always cheerful and helpful. Just wish they'd add a method to tip when paying by card though, I rarely carry cash. I know how important tips are in this industry. The car hops here are even kind and understanding on the days when I must apologize about not having a tip!!! Everytime this happens, I go home & contact Corporate Hdq to fix this problem. Maybe if all of us customers sent even 1 email, they'd finally solve this important issue. Evidently my 2000+ emails aren't enough.
Only thing I can complain about is the ones making my drink and their inability to understand how to pack it with extra ice. Here's the trick if you're the drink maker and you're reading this 😘 Because the tea is usually warm enough to melt the ice, start with the cup overfilled with ice before adding tea. Depending on the freshness and therefore hotness of the tea, continue to add more ice as needed. You'll know it's perfect if the cup has very little give when you squeeze it. Read moreAbsolute worst experience that I have ever had at a Sonic. I ordered two drinks via the app while traveling through the McKinney area today. When I arrived, I notified them that I was here and supplied my stall number so the drinks could be delivered. 30 minutes later I still had no drinks. I used the call button at my stall twice during this time to check the status of my order. The second time I was told that they had no order for me. I read them the specifics of my order from my electronic receipt provided by my app that I had pre paid for. Still, they would not deliver my drinks. I then asked the “Manager” to cancel my order. He said he couldn’t. So, I lost 30 minutes and $2.90. Great way to treat a customer right? I should have known I was in for a rough experience when I observed what appears to be black mold growing on the side of the building of this location when I first drove in. Needless to say, I will never go back to this location. Communicating with the “Manager” reminded me of the dialogue from an old Cheech & Chong movie.
