If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would.

First off, Jersey Mike's is an amazing company. They give so much back to the community. They have given millions to the special Olympics, and to other great organizations like Wipe Out Kids' Cancer. Amazing.

Then, there is the food. We spent 10 years in the mid-Atlantic region, where sandwiches were taken seriously. Jersey Mike's is the real deal. But, even better, they have Udi's gluten-free bread available, so I can actually partake with my family! Jersey Mike's takes allergies seriously, changing gloves and maintaining clean condiments for those who identify allergies to avoid cross-contamination. My recommendations: get extra condiments on gf bread to achieve the same experience as non-gf sandwiches. (Extra vinegar is delicious and has fewer calories.) Also, on the warm sandwiches, if you are a mushroom lover like I am, you can get regular mushrooms instead of paying extra for portobellos, and they will saute them with the meat and peppers. Yum.

The shop is simple, but they are clean, and I really appreciate that they give you access to the soda fountain, where they have high end, natural sodas.

Last, but definitely not least, this specific store had a full staff who were efficient, friendly, and genuinely seemed like they liked to be there. That's a really good sign, and makes for a very...

I wish I could give these guys five stars... Ok, first things first... sandwiches here are great! The people working here are the best but I think they are tired of being asked for Dr Pepper and having to disappoint yet another customer with the bad news, we don’t have Dr Pepper. They DO have Stubborn soda. Stubborn soda is really good, however they only offer the boutique flavors. As far as cola goes that really only leaves Pepsi, Pepsi is the worst. Why not do what many other restaurants carrying Stubborn soda in Mckinney do and put the Draft COLA flavor on the gun. It would really help with the soda issue.
