McDonald's — Restaurant in McKinney

I had the worst service last night (11/19). I had gone to another location (prosper) and ordered a meal. It took me a second to get to the burger because I was driving. I ordered my burger with no mustard, add mayo, my first bite was all mustard AND mayo. I couldn’t eat it, so on my way home to Melissa, I saw a McDonald’s at Lake Forest & 380. I saw a female worker sitting in the lobby on her phone as I was pulling around to the drive through (after midnight). I pulled up to the box where a female voice as quietly as possible asked to give them a minute and they’d be right with me. So 3-5 mins later they finally get back to me (there’s no other customers but me) & I proceeded to tell her about the burger. She asks me to pull to the window & I explain again as she takes the burger from me and looks at the tag and turns to me and says “no I will not remake this for you because it came from a different location.”

First of all I work in a fast paced service job that people order and come to our location for pick up only to find out it’s at another store. We don’t even think twice, we verify their order and we make it right on the spot. We lose money in our store by providing those items to the customer regardless because we want to have a happy customer to come back because they know we can make it right.

This was horrible customer service. Maybe understandable if they were super busy but literally no one was there but me. I just wanted the burger remade and was really disappointed in how quickly I was dismissed by her. I spent $11 basically on a coke and fries and horrible service.

Will not be back to this location ever if their employees lack empathy...

I’m so done w/ this location. It’s 1 mile from my house and I still will NEVER return!

Last week I was short $10. I gave a $20 bill fir a bill of $3. Was given only 6$ back , the girl even hesitated when giving me my change . It felt weird. I called spoke to a manager told him , he said would check the cameras and he said he will call me back ,he never did. I did and they hung up on me while waiting for manager.

Today I waited 13 minutes in drive-through . Order. Paid. Was told to pull up , did. Then the second window told me my card was declined. I looked at my receipt and noticed it was a totally different order. In the mail manager came back to me and told me that it was not my receipt but both receipts had the same time 8:24 AM I asked to keep the other receipt just in case I need to verify with my bank ad and he denied and took the other receipt . Rude! But ok . He told me to pull up to last window for my meal and I seen 9 cars leave with their meals before I was Handed the wrong order again!! Also, sweet tea is not unsweet!! How hard is it to make sweets freaking tea.

They have STOLEN 10$ from me last Week. I was nice about it now I’m just upset. Today I paid 18$ for wrong order .I just never want to see them again and hope karma takes over to all of them who have done me wrong or stolen...

Update 08/26/2022: ordered a spicy mcchicken and no special requests. Can’t mess that up right? Wrong. Received someone else’s special order double cheeseburger. Not mad about the sub, but the other customer might. When you think this location can’t get worse, they say ‘hold my beer’.

This location was ok when it opened. A little slow but that was understandable. But now it keeps getting worse. Something is always messed up. I tried using a deal today to get a free hash brown with a purchase of a breakfast sandwich and didn’t get it. It was ‘free’ so I’m not out any money but I would have paid for it if they didn’t want to honor the deal. Most other visits you can’t check their errors unless you unwrap you meal. If you ask for extra pickles in your burger you’ll usually get no pickles. I’m not sure if it’s a system issue or workers don’t read the order correctly? Missing dipping sauces for nuggets. It’s just always something wrong and not usually the same thing. I also like to use the curbside and the people bringing your meal is never happy. I don’t expect cartwheels or fireworks but a little friendlier would be appreciated.

Anyone reading this... do yourself a favor and go to the location near Hardin and Eldorado. Much better and I can’t recall them ever getting the...
