We ordered two pizzas. One 16” original pepperoni with extra cheese and one 14” pan with 7 toppings—one of those was extra cheese. The largest a “pan” pizza will come in is 14”. This is the first unfavorable review I’ve given on here and typically don’t because I’m a business owner and I tend to think these reviews don’t mean much. But after looking at the positive reviews and seeing how great everyone’s experience has been, I had to share mine. I realize first hand the bar is low these days on help and what/who you can actually employ in the service space. After the Covid lockdowns all bets were off. The problem with this Papa Murphy’s is three things—the price for what you get, the staff engagement when you get there, and the presentation of the product that costs more than most pizza places that actually bake the pizza for you. The toppings I paid for were crap and sparse. The staff did not say anything until I asked if the pizza came with a box. Their answer…”no.” No “thank you for your business”, “hello/goodbye” or an “f you”. Nothing. The pizza came in cellophane wrap on a paper plate. No box. No bag. After all of that, according to my high schooler sons, it tastes like cafeteria pizza. So, thank you, Papa Murphy. We are so glad you gave us the opportunity to give you our business. Won’t do it again, but we sure appreciated the opportunity today. Oh, and we left a tip. I don’t know why we did that, but you’re welcome.

Read moreCustomer service lacking tremendously. I ordered 3 specialty pizzas. My BBQ chicken pizza specified "NO ONIONS". I sent my teen to pick it up. She got home and it had onions. (We have 3 people with onion allergies in this house) I called the store, they apologized and said they will replace it and give us a coupon for a free pizza. I sent my teen to get the promised remade pizza and coupon. They did not give her the coupon. I called and employee Parker said they were sorry, but if I call an order in and ask for him at some later date, he would honor his word. Knowing that it would be unlikely to be honored after today with no proof, I called back and said that I'd liked my free pizza today, but just a plain pepperoni instead of specialty (letting them off easy). Parker said that would be fine. I sent my kid to get it. They negated the ENTIRE thing and said maybe a side dish free. They OBVIOUSLY were never willing to make good on their promise. DON'T TRUST THEM. So sorry I put my tip into my online order. I had even sent an extra $5 bill with the kid to give to them. Oh, well... they lost our business. ENDED UP WITH ZERO COMPENSATION after 3 trips...
Read moreMy personal opinion as I see others see it differently. This place has gone downhill since the original owners left. I miss them! Yesterday was the straw that broke the camels back for me. XLNY was the Friday special yet they had none available for a walk in. I would have them pre-made and ready. They looked busy and I can understand that, but to wait over 25 minutes for the special is unbelievable. Also the lady that ordered after me received her specialty pizza at least 5 minutes before mine was being started. I asked for my money back. Say what you will there, but there is more. We always order thin crust, and on a previous order I got home and it was regular crust. 90% of the Thai pizzas we have order since the original owners we have had an issue with cooking them. Either the crust or the sauce always runny or the crust ends up soggy. I tried to address one of these issues with one of the two owners previously and received a lackluster response. Yesterday could’ve been the exception, but for me it seems to be a...
