Stir King — Restaurant in Mebane

I really enjoy the food at Stir King and I have always had wonderful customer service here also. The place is busy, the staff are busy and working hard. I cant believe reviews whining about waiting for food to cook? Unbelievable. I guess they have Samantha from Bewitched working in their kitchens. She can wiggle her nose and make food appear. I dont mind having my food fresh cooked. Unfortunately I have never tried their little lunch buffet because I am at work during lunch hours. I do order off of their menu for to-go dinner plates very often. I usually call ahead and it is ready and waiting still hot when I get there. They have wonderful chicken wings.. Any time I have unexpected company show up at my house and no time to thaw meat to cook, Stir King saves the day because I can get enough wings to feed a lot of people for under $20. A couple of days ago was my first visit to stir king.I called ahead to order my food and after 10 minutes I arrived at the spot and thought the place was closed because of how dark the place was.When I walked inside no one was there everybody was in the back so I waited a few minutes for someone to finally come out .The lady came out without a smile she didn't say a word I told her that I had a call in order and she got the food took the money and walked back to the back again without saying thank you have a nice day nothing I guess they feel that there food is so good that they don't have to be courteous to the customers and the food was just ok nothing special so like I said this was my first visit but I don't think that I will return for a second.Two thumbs down👎👎 for the lady's I don't give a...

Great food ,great staff and unbelievable service every time...I don't know why there are one star reviews and two star reviews of this place I've lived in mebane my whole life and never had a problem with Stirr King at all.. Maybe these people who complain are expectations are too high for their $7 meal..or maybe they're just from up North like everybody else moving down here with their bad attitudes and unpolitaness.. this place has so many awards but yet I see people complaining on here left and right,especially a certain type of people.. and Google quit making people local guides just because they have 10 reviews that doesn't mean they're a local guide that just means they don't know how to cook and eat out...
