Apparently putting pre sliced cake into a container is too difficult and requires in depth training, especially if your boyfriend is in the store too. Stopped in for a third visit today. Typically spend around $50 for 2 or 3 people. Ordered several drinks and would have ordered more items, but was told by the server that she had not been trained on how to make most of the food items on the menu. We tried ordering cake. It was already made and sliced in the cold case. We were told that she had not been trained on how to put the cake in the to go container and it had to be done a special way. Ordering the cake on a plate was also not possible. I even offered to coach the employee through it, as I have been bartender and waiter for about 20 years worth of experience. No dice. The drinks we ordered were not blended well and were missing the extra ingredients we ordered. They tasted ok, but were full of large ice chunks that made them difficult to drink. The previous two visits were not like this and I'm fairly sure the same person waited on us then. So I'm really not sure what the issue was. Her significant other was also in the store visiting, and she seemed way more interested in spending time with him than helping customers or maybe engaging the training materials. Probably won't go back or at least will see if a owner or manager is present if we do. There are a few other places in town to try. It's a shame too, the ice cream and cake are really good here. I mean, when you...
Read morePleasantly surprised how good the bubble tea was for this little cafe. I'll be honestly I'm extremely picky about the bubble tea I drink but this was pretty good. I'm excited to have this place in town. The interior is also very aesthetically pleasing with cute couches and pillows. Only downside is the price, I would say it's a bit more expensive than other bubble tea places in the area (Raleigh, Durham). Makes it more of a special treat rather than a...
Read moreMy first time drinking boba was when they first opened. The drinks I’ve had so far are Delicious and I’m definitely willing to try something new with each visit. The ice rolls ice cream is creamy and doesn’t melt easily which I think is cool. Definitely recommend the mango or strawberry yogurt smoothie with either boba (popping or regular) or jelly. Those are my go to choices. Also try the coconut cake, because my mom and I are definitely...
