First ever experience at McDonald's in 20 plus years of eating at McDonald's. Reid (guy with dreads) was the worst ever. He was rude. I had issues with the app. When I came to the window, they claimed they didn't see the second order. I have him both order numbers and showed him that my card was already charged twice. He then rang up another order and charged me. When I saw the receipt plus I saw the alert. I told him that he charged me again. I had 3 different charges. He became irrational. I told him to give me all three receipts, but he needed to refund me or reverse the last transaction because the amount was wrong either way. The app charges once you get to the restaurant. I have my bank card app on my phone, so it shows an alert as soon as it happens. Another guy processed a refund for the last transaction. Reid acted like I was trying to get free food. He made comments that I heard. The McDonald's app stores the purchases in your history once the payment is pending and received approval from my card. I know how the payment part works. He then proceeded to go and fix my order. I told the guy in the second window that I didn't want him touching my food because Reid didn't wash his hands, and he was already being rude to me. He claimed I yelled at him. Which is something I would never do. I also wouldn't get an attitude with anyone preparing my food because I don't want contaminated food. Reid even said he would call the police and give false information that I wanted free food. Again, the app had charged my card for the food. The other 2 purchases were not refunded. The other 2 purchases had discounted pricing due to special deals in the app. He rsng me up full price. He also started cursing. I did tell him that was not called for because I have a young child in the car. I didn't have an attitude with him, and I didn't talk to him in the manner he was talking to me. I even told him that I didn't want to come in because my back was already hurting, and I am disabled. He ignored that part obviously because of the nasty things he said to the other employees about me. The no reaction from the other employees told me he had done this before. I was over an hour away from home. I honestly didn't even eat the food. It was cold. I was shocked that this had even happened. Due to my unique name. I will no longer visit any McDonald's ever again. I hope their inside cameras have audio. I didn't record because I was trying to get him to see that my card was charged already twice. He wasn't trying to listen to me at all. To use such language in front of a child is dead wrong. His customer service is horrible. I can't help that I had issues with the app. I have had them before, and the employees at other restaurants have always either taken my phone and fixed it or walked me through how to fix it. The app made changes, and I hate the changes. It makes it harder to use. I am highly disappointed. I will be contacting their corporate office tomorrow. It's unacceptable. For him to even be comfortable to talk to me like that tells me he has done this before. Edit: I did contact the main corporate for McDonald's and I asked for a phone call from the corporate of this location. Didn't receive a call. The more this crosses my mind and I should have mentioned this here and I didn't mention it in the app complaint... What bothers me about this situation, is, I was threatened with the police. I see this as discrimination. This dude was ready to lie on me. We know that when the police are called, it's a 50/50 chance innocent or not, as a person of color that we could lose our life. My life is definitely worth more than $11. I never threatened dude. I never got loud with dude. He was ready to waste taxpayer money and risk my life over him lying. When I called main corporate, I told them that part of story. All this over 19 chicken nuggets and 2 small fries. This has heightened my fear, and it cuts deep and it's a reminder of how little my life is valued by others. I added...
Read moreWent through drive thru made an order got to first window he asked if we wanted a receipt and we chose no. Picked up the food at the second window and I mentioned to my husband his drink was small but we went on. Handed my daughter the bad of food in the back seat as we were pulling off and she noticed our food was wrong. We ordered 3 McDoubles and there were 2 in the bag and she said there are 2 chicken nuggets in here and we only should have had 1. So we turn around go back to drive thru to tell them our order is wrong and apparently the shift manager Jeff yells with an attitude from either the fry hopper or he was expediting food but said if they don’t have a receipt they need to call my General Manager Joe and they took our bag of food and shut the window and would not open it back up. So they took the food we paid for, no refund and could not correct the food. I went inside and at counter I told a worker I needed to see the manager and he was standing there expediting food ignored me and would not come to talk to me. I said I would call an officer to assist me since someone not management material could. And he made comment to his fellow worker completely with attitude, did she say call an officer and chuckled. The police came and went inside to talk to him and I told them at this point I don’t want food from here scared they will do something bad to it. But she said his new equipment would not let him reply the receipt and I would need to call his general manager without giving me correct contact he gave the officer someone else’s receipt with the store number which you can’t get anyone on and at this time he didn’t want to trespass anyone. He explained to the officer that they have been having many people trying to get free food saying there order was wrong. This by far was the worst experience my family has ever had at any restaurant. We paid for our food and had it taken away from us so we were stolen from this McDonald’s. No refund no correction and they took the food we had. We had to go to another McDonalds location to get our food. We were treated very poorly when we paid money and could have paid extra if the order was taken wrong. But it just seems to me the order taker is making mistakes and this may be why you have so many people returning back for missing items. Seems to have poor management and many problems within training for their employees. I believe Jeff needs anger management, demotion and proper training. So whoever Jeff is which I was told General Manager also seems to need additional training on who he hires to run his store and what requirements they need to fit the position. They have major issues at this location. I warn you to not go there to prevent problems for yourself. At least my granddaughter got her happy meal I guess we just didn’t get to eat as a family as we always do since we let her eat while it was hot with all the unnecessary treatment we didn’t get food for another 45 minutes from another location which was pleasant. Bought the same food twice just...
Read moreThe unsweet tea was perfect today. Thank you if you did anything specific to fix it.
Just when this place was starting to get better, they gave me sweet iced tea instead of the unsweet that I ordered. I even asked at the window. They need to understand that sugar is very dangerous for some people.
Today was dirty and slow and they could not deliver what I wanted. Down to 2.
Food is decent and inexpensive. People are friendly. Can be dirty. Smoking by workers and customers is troublesome.
I wish they trained their employees better here. I saw one today carelessly flicking her cigarette onto the ground. If she is that way about personal hygiene, what is she going to do with your food?
Tea is weak and men's room smells of urine. Otherwise a decent place for an inexpensive meal or snack.
Today really dumb person at drive-through window. They made it look better, but didn't improve the service.
Today, my wife and I stopped by with a simple order. I asked for my unsweetened tea with light ice but instead the server filled the cup with ice. When asked to correct it to light ice, the server filled the cup with sweetened tea. Don't these people (or local management) realize that can be a DEADLY mistake for certain people. Down to one star. Can it get any worse? Who trains the servers??? They must have changed the recipe for the unsweet iced tea. It tastes like unfiltered sewer water.
Today I drove through and ordered a senior unsweet iced tea and a fish sandwich. I got a large unsweet iced tea and a fish sandwich that look like it had been made by a blind person.
I keep coming back so I guess they have me where they want me. I am a frequent customer who doesn’t ask for and adjustment of the price even when it is warranted. And doesn’t complain when Tartar sauce spills all over my clothes.
For the sake of the business, I hope someone from management reads this and tries to make...
