Read moreThis USED TO be the best Thai restaurant in town… me and my family had been going there for a decade+ maybe two decades. The mom retired and the daughter took over. The pad Thai is now a thick and heavy dark color and taste like something you would buy from a premade mix…When the mom used to make it, it was very light and refreshing. You could tell there was effort and soul put behind every dish that she made. Unfortunately, the daughter has changed the recipes and the style of cooking. You can tell that there is no heart or soul Who loves cookin behind these new dishes (like her Mothers food)
I sincerely hope if you are reading this that you have a sit down with your mother and maybe talk to her about what you can do differently. Get her to come in for a day and help you cook and show you what you are doing wrong.
I know there is a lot of positive reviews, but I think maybe it’s people that have not had good Thai food before, or have not been a customer of Siam’s prior to the switch. Because me and my group of friends, as well as everyone else I talk to tells me how terrible siams is now. We are uncomfortable talking about it… so nobody usually says anything, but I figured it was about time that Someone shared the truth.
Please talk to your mom and bring back the old pad Thai. It was light and not overly heavy instead of the dark orange color like it is now. Now it taste like a sauce packet that you got from the store instead of The best homemade pad Thai that me and my friends have ever had in our lives.
I hate to even write this review because of how much respect I have for Siams considering how long I was a customer there…. But it’s just not the same… it’s not even close to the same. Me and my friends now do not go there anymore and we go to other Thai restaurants. There are other restaurants in town where you could get decent Thai food, but not as good as Siams (before the switch)
It seems like the daughter just is doing this because her mom forced her to… and she doesn’t really want to cook… and there’s no passion behind...
Read moreHad such a great meal here! Ordered the wonton soup, shrimp and vegetable tempura, spicy chicken pineapple curry, and the Pad Spicy Eggplant with pork — and honestly, everything was so good. The wonton soup was comforting and flavorful, perfect as a starter. The tempura was light and crispy, not greasy at all. I loved the spicy chicken pineapple curry — it had the perfect balance of sweet and savory, with just the right amount of spice. The spicy eggplant pork was super tasty. I could’ve asked for it to be spicier, but it was still delicious.
The place itself was cozy and had a really relaxed vibe, great for either a solo meal or lunch & dinner with friends. The staff serving that day was friendly and attentive, and the service was quick without feeling rushed. Overall, we had a really enjoyable experience and would...
