I hesitated to comment on El Paraiso I only like to tell people about good stuff. We have been here before and really enjoyed the service and the ambiance. Food was usually really tasty and served attractively. We both elected to try something we were not familiar with a fajita salad. I ordered one with beef my companion with shrimp. These both were very good looking and very well prepared. Unfortunately the next morning brought a very unpleasant experience to my companion who had the shrimp. I had no ill effects. I do not want to be totally negative it’s not my style but I feel obligated to caution folks. I will be going back but taking care of

We had the Chicken Ortega and the Chimichanga. Both were very tasty! The servers were cheerful and helpful. The atmosphere is better than most similar Mexican restaurants. This is a sizable restaurant with a full bar attached that has live music on many weekends. Food was served piping hot and the sauces were delicious. My hubby ordered their raspberry sauce usually served with their flautas with his Chimichanga and loved it. We've eaten here many times, but it had been awhile, so it was nice to return and once again enjoy their wonderful food and hospitality.

I asked if the Baja tacos are beer battered and they bring out this. This fish piece is looking more like a breaded fish finger, definitely not made in the restaurant. For the price of $12 I'm not incredibly disappointed but based on the restaurant atmosphere (which is good I like the restaurant) I expected better. Maybe another time I will try the shrimp tacos plate. But definitely never getting fish again. And I wouldn't advertise this tacos as "Baja tacos" because en Baja California se hacen con batido de cerveza.

You know I am not one to do this often however I have to say I am beyond dissapointed tonight. I have been coming to Habanero's for several years now and have never been treated with such horrible service. To start off the evening it took almost 20 minutes to get the first of three plates to the table and another 10 minutes to get the rest of us our dinner, mind you we were one of 2 tables in the restaurant. Then the first drink that was brought to the table was messed up and there was a pathetic attempt to correct it when it came back to the table it had simply been blended and returned as a watered down version of the original messed up drink. Then I order a shot of fireball and it took 10 minutes to get the shot and when it arrived there was a fresh lipstick print on the glass. I waited for nearly 20 minutes for the waitress to even walk back into our side of the restaurant so I could address the issue. Once I was able to have the waitress tracked down and I brought the issue to light not only was she rude about the mistake but when I told her that there was no reason I should have to pay for the mistake and that my drink should be comped I was told that they would "kindly" not charge me for the original drink which mind you was not consumed. When I asked to speak with the manager the waitress tried to blow me off and avoid getting the manager and when she did finally go and get the manager she barely listened to a word I said, she cut me off and she talked over me. The only apology that was verbalized was dripping with resentment and sarcasm. It was clearly lacking in any sincerity, in fact throughout the entire exchange I was essentially told that it was not their fault, the bar area was not very well lit and not seeing a filthy glass was not their fault. And to finish off the evening as we were waiting for our checks we witnessed the waitstaff talking bad about us and making fun of the situation. Despite the long wait times, and the numerous faults in our orders the most upsetting and dissapointing part of the event was the complete lack of customer service and the level of disrespect that we were treated with. I am sad to say that I fear I will likely never return to the restaurant and I will certainly not encourage anyone else...

If something happens to you here don't expect the restaurant to take owner ship. I had a party of 3 sitting outside on the patio, there was wind, the screens were secured, and both of hit one person while the other hit the drink, slammed on the table, knocked the water everywhere, and on the customer. Waiter comes out well over 15 mins later, states that this is not the late time it will happen, explains/shows us what needs to be done (only does one side when 4 needs to be secured), and then goes about his day. When we asked for the check and asked if there is anything that can be done due to the situation he said I'll give you a discount which is great but then the manager comes out and says its no one's fault its the patios fault?!! I said sir you and the employees secure this spot before customers are seated so yes this is your responsibility, he shook his head no, said its already happened, and we are ok now. This is extremely unprofessional and ridiculous. If you come here don't...

Please read before considering eating at this restaurant! Food poisoning, found hair in my food, and the worst customer service handling the situation. On a family vacation visiting our sick grandmother, we all meet at Habaneros for dinner. I found a hair in my food and several orders were messed up and taken back to the kitchen to be redone. Later that night 2 people in my family got food poisoning and spent the entire night sleeping in front of the toilet at the hotel throwing up. (Be advised, they both had eaten the shredded beef enchiladas) When I called the restaurant and made the situation known the manager argued with me about food poisoning and denied that they were at fault after we had taken my little sister who got sick to the DR and he confirmed it was in fact food poisoning. The manager assured me that they would refund the money after giving me a call back.....well he never called back or...
