If I could, I would give 0. I am not usually "that lady" but there is almost nothing positive I can say. We arrived 45 minutes before closing. I admit that, but if they couldn't accommodate guests, they could have said so and we would have gone elsewhere... and multiple people came in after us. We were told a 30 minute wait though the place was empty. I guess no staff? No problem. They sat us about 30 minutes later and the waiting started. Someone took our order another 30 minutes later. Wait, wait, wait... by now it is over 30 minutes after closing and we are starving. Two meals came out. A soggy burger and handful of fries, and two fried eggs which were literally full of shells, or something else that looked suspiciously like shells and crunched when my daughter didn't see them to remove them. Finally two dinners and an omelet... the wrong omelet. It was covered in mushrooms (which no one in my family can tolerate) and had the wrong sidedish. They "remade" the omelet, mind you we waited nearly an hour for it the first time, and after 15 minutes or so it came back to the table. Yep, came back... they scraped the mushrooms off the eggs and the hashbrowns off the plate and put the right toppings on... leaving quite a few mushrooms and a few hashbrowns and served the same eggs again, now with burned (to black) homefries. Again, we were starving. We ate it. We then had to remind them that they had never brought one daughter's meal, which was soup. Simple soup. It is pictured in my photo... does that look like soup? By comparison, the mac and cheese was completely liquid! They also forgot the salad and bread, and had to be repeated asked, and during the two hours we were there we were only offered one refill which was the wrong drink. To top it all off, we went out and found our windshield had been broken. Not their fault, but something for patrons to keep in mind. After getting home, two of us began having upset stomachs. Seriously, nothing was good about this visit except that the two waitresses seemed quite pleasant. I know people are short staffed but just close and put up a sign for online...
Read moreBeyond disappointed with the pickup order we've just received from this location. The food was mispackaged, with the Mac and cheese that was supposed to go with a burger and mashed potatoes and gravy that were supposed to be seperate being swapped. Meaning that by the time we had scraped the mashed potatoes out of the box, there was no gravy left as it had been soaked up by the fries it was mistakenly packaged next to. We were missing an entire gallon of peach iced tea. We went back for this, and the (admittedly apathetic) manager personally replaced the item, only to get it home and find out that it was only tea; no sweetener or flavored syrup. The food was all cold, though it was picked up at the exact time doordash recommended. And on top of all of this, at 7:30 on a Friday night this was the only restaurant in the immediate area that did not have a full/overflowing parking lot. It seems rather obvious now why that is. With as little business as was there, it seems that a lot more care should have been taken to get this order correct. So I am now changing my review of THIS Bob Evans. With a PROMISED GRANTEED I WILL NOT STEP FOOT INTO THIS RESTAURANT EVER AGAIN or any Bob Evans again.
A month ago. I ordered take out
2 dinners, large soup, and extra sides. Placed order online. Paid online. Went to pick up
1st problem Soup missing.. ( they never got it ready) (( it would be a half an hour wait)) ( it was frozen still) 2nd problem dinners were actually the same ( however one dinner had 2 chicken breast and the other only had one chicken breast) 3rd problem the sides were wrong 4th problem the newbie manager had no idea what he was doing. Was left alone to run the restaurant.
I called the next morning. Asked for the store manager. Spoke with a gentleman. He apologized. Told me I had credit for one meal next time I ordered. Well I ordered and of course the Manager gave me the run around. Refused to honor the credit. Stayed he knew nothing.
Beware folks. They are quick to take your money. But don't care about the SCREW UPS THEY DO.
