I am not fond of Bob Evans Restaurants. They have some good points, but the food and service quality are increasingly bad. What irritates me most is a manager offering to comp a bad meal. A freebie does not make a bad meal better. To me it is a bribe, and I refuse to compromise my integrity. Here's the problem this particular restaurant seems to be unfamiliar with customer service other than "buy 'em off." This weekend we ordered breakfast to go and they omitted two biscuits. When we called and complained to the manager, some guy named Dave, we were ultimately told that we could swing by and get them, which would have resulted in the ruination of the other items of breakfast. Obviously this was unacceptable. The conversation went back and forth until we were offered the whole meal comped; the manager would send coupons/gift cards or whatever. I refused and suggested that he credit us $1.99 for the biscuits. Nope, he couldn't do that because I had ordered on line. I suggested that he talk to his regional manager to accomplish the refund. I then hanged up the phone. The purpose of this review is to express my frustration at the poor service offered by the restaurant. This Bob Evans would earn more positive review if they attended to quality food and service. One more thing, the food was unbelievably greasy (quality here). My breakfast was swimming in grease; there were little puddles of melted grease in my bowl. It was inedible. This poor quality in food sank the restaurant to 0 points and my decision to NEVER return to...

I have carry out I asked for carrots with my chicken tenders dinner and mashed potatoes I got green beans.this is the only Bob Evans that I ever have problems at even when I eat in house they either forget something or they don't cook it right I just don't understand.I usually eat at Bob Evans anytime I'm traveling and from now on I'm just going to go to the Bob Evans at route 18 and 71 because they always seem to get it right and they have a much more friendly staff who's that standing around and talking about folks and not doing what they should be doing, which is making sure the orders are correct before they put them in a carry-out bag or serve them.I'm not being picky I'm not being harsh I was a server for 30 years and I no mistakes are made but it's always at this Bob Evans that they're made and it's not once in a blue moon it's every time I go there.it's more convenient cuz it's 5 minutes from my house where the one at 18 and 71 is actually 15 minutes from my house but it's well...

Worst dining experience ever!! Started off with the server acting like we were inconveniencing her by even being there. Food was TERRIBLE!! Sausage gravy was dark brown and did not taste like sausage at all. Sausage patties were so burnt I couldn't even get a fork through them. I was served old home fries that were dropped in old grease to heat them. Pot roast sandwich tasted like old dirty grease. Server never came by to check on us but brought our check and asked if we wanted a take out box for the nasty burnt food!! Cashier was pretty rude and I had to stand and wait to pay my check while she argued with a takeout customer that he couldn't have what he wanted from the menu because the menu is outdated. Once he walked out (without ordering) I had to listen to her complain about him. Very poorly run businesses!! I don't know where the manager was but they obviously need to pay more attention to their staff. Will NEVER enter this...
