UPDATE: I am updating my review and updating to 5 stars. The reason being is despite my previous experience the district manager heard me out after I explained my dining experience. I am not a typical "Karen" type in the way of making lives miserable to seek out a free meal. I have worked the food and beverage industry before and can truly appreciate what it means to earn a wage in said field. I pride myself in tipping all servers, yet I do not make it a goal to nit pick every single server apart for the smallest infractions. I get it, we all have our moments, we are human. I truly tried to give the server the benefit of the doubt, especially since she did not try to pass the buck off on to the cooks (nothing worse then when a server will not accept accountability for their own actions). For the previous particular visit I hesitantly did not tip the server and I was so conflicted about doing so because it is something that does not settle well in my soul. However, there are learning lessons to be taught along the way in the hopes to correct the behavior. The district manager did in fact apologize on behalf of Quaker Steak and Lube and sent out a gift cart covering the cost of the bill.
Hesitantly, we went back tonight just for the simple fact I felt bad for the server because I didn't want her to think I felt some kind of way towards her, yet I didn't want to get her again for fear of having the same experience. Not the case, because Rachel (a completely different server) not only stepped up to the plate but redeemed our experience and over exceeded our expectations. As a result we WILL return. She did such a great job that sadly I could not tip her initially because I used the gift card as a method of payment SOOO we bought desert to take home so I could tip her. Thank you Rachel and the rest of the ladies there tonight AND the district management team for turning one not so good experience into an awesome experience. THAT is what keeps customer coming back!
And customers, remember, keep a cool leveled head and talk things out to allow the customer service team a chance to redeem themselves. It has been a rough year for all and everyone needs each other to lean upon another to get through. God bless and stay #GodStrong
Original review: Food was good after we received it an hour later due to the server forgetting to put our order in, and it was NOT packed, thus the 2 stars. Was not offered a discount either to make...
Read moreJust got back from eating there during their lower price burger night. The three of us had two burgers and a chicken sandwich. Sides were celery/carrot/dip, fries, and steamed broccoli.
First, we got there and had to wait about 25 minutes to be seated. Then we sat for about 5 and got our drinks. Waited about 10 minutes before had our order taken. Food took quite a while to make it out to us. Burgers were good, but chicken sandwich was made wrong. New one was sent out about 3minutes later but also wrong and the side was still partially frozen. Had to call over waitress to get it fixed again. Food taste was nothing special.
Very basic level taste and VERY salty. Costs of food are also pretty high for what you get unless you get there for meal deals like happy hour or lunch buffet. We did get partial amount taken off bill for the incorrect sandwich, which was very nice because we never even asked for it. Manager also came by to ask us how we liked the meal.
Service was frustrating because the servers were all over the place because it was soooo busy. Was very small place too, so there were accidents like servers dropped glasses and people bumping into each other a lot. Was very loud too. Hard to talk.
Was very happy to have something unique here in ME,OH. but will only go back to try again for the lunch buffet and see how that is. Maybe catch a cruise in. Just takes too long for food, feels impersonal, costs a lot, food tastes not...
Read moreI was the happiest dude in Medina when I heard about this place opening. Best wings in the area. My old lady always gets the ribs and absolutely loves them. I won't admit how many times I've been there since they've opened, but let's just say I know what I'm ordering before I even walk in the door.
The service is top notch to put it quite frankly. For a place that just opened, there was bound to be some kinks, although I haven't personally observed them and even if I did I wouldn't fault them for it. The staff is incredibly friendly, and once again, I'm embarrassed to mention a few of them know me by name now due to the frequency of my visits. Chris, Steve, Pete, and Austin all come to mind as some of the great staff there - but for all the others I don't yet know (or can't remember their name) - they all do a great job.
I'm self-proclaimed connoisseur of chicken wings and on a scale of 1-10 (with 10 being the best) I give the Lube Medina a 10 - no...
