Perfect foods and even better service Edit 12/09/2021 After going to Jojos for over 10 years (and having our WEDDING RECEPTION there), we have been asked by the owner Stu Mann (no longer in the Dominic's family) to "find a new establishment" because of one posting in which we commented that they no longer had a special that has been a staple there for years. We weren't upset that the special was no longer offered, we were upset that nowhere did it say that they had discontinued it. We LOVE the servers and the previous owners. We TRIED to excuse most of the new owner's action due to his not having previous restaurant experience BUT to lash out and ask us to no longer patronize a business because of a comment or suggestion??? That's basic human decency AND basic management 101. It truly is sad that an establishment since 1987 has been turned over to such a miserable owner. The servers are overworked, overwhelmed and underappreciated, yet they always have a smile on their faces. The ladies at the carryout station, although inundated with calls, always smile and joke with us. It truly is sad and it feels like we have been asked to leave our family. My hope is that Stu Mann eventually either finds a way to improve his management skills OR gives someone the authority to return it to how it was. It can be done, I just pray it's done in time before the regulars of this town cease...
Read moreBeing our first time there, we waited at the hostess stand because there was a sign that said "wait to be seated". After almost 10 minutes of standing there...another customer approached us and let us know it's seat yourself. None of the 4 members of the waitstaff that walked past us during that time bothered to mention that. So..we find a booth and sit down. The place was moderately busy..but not crazy...still several empty tables available. We sat as, once again, 4 different servers walked past us several times...2 of them delivering food to the table directly next to us. Not one word was said to us. Not a "we'll be with you guys as soon as we can" or even a simple "hi". We were nearing 10 minutes sitting at the table...apparently invisible, and I saw a server yell "hi" to a new customer that had just walked in and pointed to a table and said "sit here". It now had been about 20 minutes total of not getting acknowledged at all by any member of the staff...so we finally got up and walked out. As we were walking out I noticed the new customer already had their drink. I was a server/bartender for 10+ years..I know there are bad days and things get behind or screwed up... but the very least you can do is...
Read moreNo longer will go here. Family went in for dinner for just a burger, wings, calzone and salads and took around 2 hours. Took forever to get food. Waitress was out of it or something. We expected salads to be delivered before entrees. We had to stop her and ask for them, then they came out right away. She said she’s get my wife another dressing. Never did and we had to remind her. Then I kid you not, as I was almost done with my salad. I discovered something that looked weird and flipped it over to a false finger nail in my salad! It was cheetah printed. Then once our food came out, I was just beginning to eat the wings and the waitress spilled my coke into my wings. She apologized and said she was going to get me new ones in 30 seconds. Clearly new that wasn’t true. She said she’d be over to wipe the table. Never did. The manager came over to ask what we needed and I said my wings. He came back with them. My wife had to ask her a second time for her dressing for her Reuben. It was a complete mess. The bill came and not even a discount or free entree.
