My new favorite place to get Balkan area food. We got two of the spicy Pljeskavica and an order of fries. The meat party is made in house according to the owner and the bread is from the family's bakery. Both were simply fantastic.
The meat was just the right consistency and had a nice mouth feel and chew. It had the flavor that I have grown to love with ground meat from the region.
The bread was soft and hot and very moist without falling apart or being soggy.
The fries were in between a thick cut and a shoestring and had enough on the plate to feed more than a couple of people. They were well seasoned with a seasoning that was a cross between Greek and Italian. Whatever it was it worked.
The place was spotless inside and the gentleman working there that took our order and cooked our food was super nice and a pleasure to talk with.
This will not be our last visit and I am afraid we might have just started an obsession that leads to us trying everything they offer.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreStopped in on a whim. They were clearly super busy hammering out take-out orders. Placed an order for a vegetarian gyro, cevapi, and fries. The man behind the counter said, āSo sorry, thereās going to be a wait. Please grab a soda while we take care of these first.ā Sweet.
I guess they donāt get vegetarian orders often so he kept coming back from the kitchen asking if they could try adding this or that. Yes please!
Heās bagging up the order and insisting that I take some extra bread and French fries. (A month later and weāre still working through this bread that we chucked in the freezer).
This whole process only took 15 minutes and he was apologizing for the wait the whole time. Food was EXCELLENT. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Itās our new...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went to Zito Deli once and it was delicious. Since then I've tried to go back at least 10 times and they are always closed (during normal business hours and definitely before 5pm) Today I go by because I was really craving a Gyro. Yay! They are open. I go inside and there is a guy at the grill who tells me they will be right with me. A couple of minutes later the owner comes out and asks for my order. I tell him I ant 3 gyros to go. He hesitates and says, well, I'm sorry, we are closing early, we ran out of bread. As I am staring straight at a stack of pita bread. I will NEVER go there again. Went to SoCo instead. It was delicious. Got some baklava while...
