Ruby donut — Restaurant in Mehlville

Just unsatisfying hands down. First off, we were not received well by any of the staff, the guy that was ringing us out had a VERY POOR attitude, couldn't slow down a bit at all. My wife and I were in there only grabbing three donuts. First time we were there so not really sure what to get or what WE wanted. After all of that, instead of putting them in a small bag or a box with their name and logo. He scoffs and switches to a styrofoam container before finishing out our order. I'm a returning customer at this point, because the first time I went to Ruby Donut, they were so good me and the kids plowed though them. We only had a few left next day, and they were as fresh tasting as the day I got them. I don't know how but they were. I got a smore donut I cannot stop dreaming about. And as you can see today lots of Christmas themed ones. The kids were super excited. It made a morning after a sleepover magical, I swear. They're fluffy, the icing is perfect, the ones with filling are to die for. Can I recommend them to a friend? I'd recommend them to...

What a gem this little donut shop is! I went in my first time this morning on the way home from an errand and so glad I stopped! Was greeted and served by a very charming lady, so pleasant and welcoming! I got half a dozen various flavors and they are all fantastic! I'm not sure which is my favorite, maybe the classic chocolate long john but don't let that "boring" sounding choice fool you--that's because both the donut itself and the chocolate icing were just perfect--bursting with freshness and flavor. I will be back.
