I have wanted to go to Dijons for 20 years. Especially because I live so close and I have heard wonderful things about it. We decided that although our budget wouldn't allow us to spend $75 on a steak or even $36 on Lobster Mac & Cheese, we would go for lunch or early dine. We looked at their menu online in advance. I tried to call 9 times for a few days before our anniversary to find out lunch hours and early dinner hours. No one EVER answered the phone. It was always a recording asking you to leave a message. So the day comes to go, and we decide on Early Dine. We get there, and they ask us where we would like to sit dining room, bar, or outside. It was hot out so and we like quiet so we chose the dining room. We told them we were there for Early Dine, and they said "Oh we don't have that or lunch any longer." We said we had been looking at their menus online, and nothing indicated that it was no longer an option. I believe it was the manager who seated us, and he said that they needed to update the information online. I also told him I had called 9 times to find out hours, and no one ever answered, and he said nothing. We thought surely we could find something on the menu for around $30 each. We were hoping not to spend over $100. To us, $75 is just too much for a steak, so off to the bar we go for 'Happy Hour' . There were a few reasonably priced appetizers, and you could also order anything extra you wanted off the dinner menu. We were going to split a house salad and French onion soup, which they split for us, which was very nice. I had the steak tips on the appetizers menu, and my boyfriend had a burger, and we each had a drink. The food and drinks were good but not special. The service was excellent. Our server said she was fairly new. I wish I had gotten her name, but she was great. They did not do anything special for celebrating our anniversary, which I really didn't expect but is always nice. We left there spending exactly what we wanted to $100. But I must say all in all, we were both underwhelmed.

First visit. Always knew they were there and always wanted to try them. Took the wife there for her birthday. I mentioned it was her birthday when I placed our reservation. Unlike some other 'fine' dining establishments, they did nothing 'extra'. For instance, Capital Grille had a table setting with the little decorations and a complimentary small flight like variety dessert tray. Morton's did something similar but not here. It was a slow night, not complaining, but with it being as slow, the service was lacking. We were not looked back on often enough and had to sit and wait for refills. The waitress was nice enough but not attentive. The food was ok. I loved my Sea Bass even though it was rather small (maybe that's normal for a Sea Bass serving?... it was my first time having Sea Bass). My wife's selection sounded better than it looked or tasted. $110 for what you see! It was basically Lobster removed from the shell and replaced with mashed potatoes (that's what you see in the pic... that's not Lobster!) The Lobster meat was removed and drowned in that whatever sauce you see, and there were also (2) Sea Scallops in there somewhere! It wasn't bad tasting, but it wasn't 'all that' either and especially for $110!!! The salads were not good at all! The Ceasar salad was dry and could have used a bit more dressing and the house salad simply tasted awful. We didn't finish nor eat much of either one. Would I go back... maybe, and if so, it'll be a lunch visit, and I'd keep it simple like a burger. Dinner?... probably, most likely not.

The food was phenomenal - the service left a lot to be desired. We started with the Lobster Bisque and the House Salad - which is made with a balsamic vinaigrette, candied walnuts, blue cheese and raisins. Both the soup and salad were amazing. In retrospect, that salad was worth the trip on its own, definite recommend. Had a glass of champagne to celebrate an occasion. We both ended up with specials, she had the Beef Bourguignon and I had the Lobster somethingorother. I liked hers more than mine, but both were quality. I was still thinking about the salad come the end of the meal though. After the food arrived the server disappeared for a really - really long time. We were done eating and sitting around so long that date night started to lose the magic and just became a waiting game so we could get the check and some boxes to continue our evening. The piano bar in the front room seems like a lot of fun, but the woo-girls up there were screaming so loud it was really distracting. We've been to Djon's before - it's good, but I would struggle to say it's great. The prices aren't cheap, and for a $90 Lobster entree, I think the service should match. Oh - lastly, the parking is a pita.

Absolutely one of the BEST dinners I've had in so long. Not only was the food absolutely outstanding, but the ambiance and the service really were next level. Clifford, our server, was so much more than that and he really brought a lot to our experience here. There is a super cool piano with an acrylic top that serves as a bar, so you get a real piano bar experience if you'd like. We had our dinner in the back of the house and it was so pretty! I had the veal chop and it was amazing. They even brought fresh strawberries from the kitchen to the bar to make a drink I requested.... Which was also phenomenal. Doesn't hurt that the place is directly across from Melbourne Beach Pier, which I definitely walked to after dinner. Just go, you will not regret it.
