The only thing worse than a "bad time" is when you have an expectation of a GOOD TIME, and it's bad. I visit Wendy's less than 5% of my food-on-the-go category. Pros: food came out pretty dang fast! Less than 90 seconds from order complete. Correctly done. That matters. Cons: asking why it has such a poor review? Buckle up. A: parking lot near empty on arrival. B: handle phone business in parking lot for 10 minutes, to go in and order. Being "new" (less than 5% of visits mentioned above) I was going to try an app special. C: walk to door. Door closed and locked, 5pm on a weekday. D: order my meal. Not once, twice. Staff being too short staffed to have open door restaurant had to tend to the ONE OTHER vehicle/person being served in front of me. She too was rejected to enter building, due to locked doors, as they made her wait for whatever she ordered, with challenges in ordering due to said staffing as I overheard. E: burger was room temp, despite being special orde4, both sides, including fries, were room temp. F: I couldn't use my app coupon (according to MOD, after my drive through guy asked how it could be done) despite app offer clearly stating BUY ANY ONE ITEM and get this for $1. I ordered a whole meal. "MOD says you have to buy another such and such to use that". Nevermind I say. G: The food received was so underwhelming, the whole thing makes one wonder. If Wendy's spent half the budget on their fast-fingered social media personnel as they did on getting brick and mortar correct...I bet it would be...
Read moreI rarely write bad reviews. We live nearby so this is the only wendys that is close to us. Every time we order from here they screw something up. This time, they told us to drive up and they told us to pull up to the red bar to get out of the drive thru, and then as we were driving up to the red bar, an employee shouted and told us to hold on as we were driving to take receipt of the drinks in the drink carrier. Also they never EVER include ketchup in the order, after many times of arriving home with no ketchup despite ordering a ton of food that most redblooded americans would eat ketchup with, i always check now. The boy came out and handed us the food, i asked him for ketchup, he gave us a small handful, not enough so we had to ask him to go back in and get us some more, again we ordered food for 4 people so the 5-6 packets he handed us was not enough. So fast forward to when we get home, they messed up my wifes sandwich and put lettuce instead of pickles on her chicken sandwich, and then they also did not put bacon on my BACON double stack sandwich, so i didnt get something i paid for. This is the last time we will be going to wendys period, we have made too many excuses for this brand and i am tired of getting treated like garbage when we have been loyal...
Read moreMy experience was that Darius, the supervisor on duty on 11/3/21 at around 5pm, was very rude to me, as a customer, and lied about my order. I asked for a Chicken BLT with freshly cooked chicken that normally takes 6 minutes to cook. I was given a stale chicken and told it was fresh. This was done when I pulled up to the window to pay. When I challenged him on it, he lied and said it was fresh and just cooked. This was only about 30 seconds after I ordered it, so I knew if was not fresh. And when I touched it to see if it was piping hot, it was just warm.
After challenging him on it, he refused to serve me and shut the slide window and told me to leave. I never got the chicken, the requested receipt, and he called the police on me. I heard the employees laughing at me, and making snide remarks.
This is not acceptable, and I reported that to the store manager, Ken. He said that he would discuss that with the General Manager, and take appropriate action but no feedback to me.
Other times that I have ordered the same thing, other employees acted properly and gave me what I ordered. Maybe this was an isolated incident, but all should know that one employee, Darius, could ruin your...
