Dear Buffalo Wild Wings Management,
I am writing to formally express my deep disappointment regarding the service my family and I received at your 3770 Hacks Cross Rd, Memphis, TN location on March 1, 2025, at 7:00 PM.
We waited for one hour and 30 minutes without receiving any service from our assigned waitress, April. During that time, we observed that she actively served other tables around us, including a white couple and an Indian group, while completely ignoring our table. When I approached the front counter to ask why we had not been served, April falsely claimed that our table was not part of her section. However, we were seated directly between the two tables she served, and upon further verification, staff confirmed that we were indeed part of her section that night.
Even after this was clarified, April still refused to take our order. Her dismissive and unprofessional behavior made it clear that we were being intentionally ignored and discriminated against as Black customers. To make matters worse, as we were leaving, another Black woman approached us and shared that she had been waiting for over an hour for April to serve her as well—further reinforcing our belief that this was not an isolated incident.
I am deeply upset and shocked that Buffalo Wild Wings would allow this type of discriminatory behavior at a location in a predominantly Black city. Not only was April incredibly rude and unprofessional, but she also made no effort to correct the situation or apologize. As a result, my family had to leave without eating, despite waiting an unreasonable amount of time.
This experience was completely unacceptable, and I demand that immediate action be taken to address this blatant discrimination. I will be escalating this complaint to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and other consumer protection agencies to ensure that no other customers have to experience...
Read moreFood is average Buffalo Wild Wings fare which is not the best food you've ever had but good bar food. The location has plenty of sports games on there many mounted TV's which is the norm for this chain. All in all, I have liked my experiences at Buffalo Wild wings so this review does not reflect the chain as a whole. The staff at this chain is pretty awful (at least the waitress that I got in the beginning). From the time, we sat until we got water was 10 minutes (which is was fine). However, when we were seated the waitress made a point to tell us that because they had a big group in the restaurant she would serve us even though we were not technically her section (this came off very catty and not really our fault as we were seated at this table by the hostess). We didn't see her again for another hour (She spent the rest of that hour either talking with co-workers or running to one of the POS terminals located around the bar staying far away from our table). In the end, I flagged down another server so we could order (there were approximately 11 waitstaff on at this particular time Saturday 1PM and the place wasn't crazy crowded I could have understood if there was a big sports game on but there wasn't). The new waiter gave us 2 soda's for free which was a nice gesture as at this time most of the people we had been seated at the same time as had their food and were finishing. He tried to pick up from where his co-worker had failed so I made sure to tip him well. This could have just been this one waiter and bad luck but that's how our experience went. The total lunch took approximately 1:45 minutes and we ate in approximately 20 minutes. Also, the waitress did eventually come back to our table but only after 8 more minutes had passed and we had already ordered with...
Read moreWhen there are good servers they are very good. Most of the time, however, the staff is more concerned with each other then they are the guests. On my last visit I sat at the bar, for 5 minutes before the bartender acknowledged me ( actually I had to wave my hands in the air several times. It was the customer he was concerned with that told him I was there). There were maybe 30 people in the restaurant at the time, 1/3 of those people were in the bar area. When I ordered ( note: he was standing around doing nothing) he fulfilled two table orders before he ever grabbed a glass and served me.
The rest of the evening was the same, glass sat empty from 5 to 15 minutes before he noticed. I guess he really wanted to watch the Belmont Stakes and not be at work.
As for the food, this time it was sub-par. I didn't order wings, maybe that was my mistake. Instead I ordered the pulled pork cuban, which was two strips of steam table bacon, an ounce and a half of pulled pork, and the bulk was mayonnaise and cheese. I even commented that it was not the best grilled cheese sandwich I have ever had, but that seemed to confuse him or piss him off I am not sure which.
Now I have been to this location and had really good service, just not this time. And I only write this because it was the worst customer service I have had anywhere and I mean anywhere in the world. If this was my first visit...it would have...
