My husband and I visited Freddy's tonight and were highly disappointed in the professionalism of the staff and in the management of the location on Poplar. Our order was made wrong twice and the wait was about a 1/2 an hour just to get two combo meals made correctly. The lettuce wrap that was presented to me looked as if it were already eaten, wrapped up and ready to be thrown away. It looked absolutely disgusting. The staff lacked professionalism and the management was nonexistent. On top of all of the bad service we still ended up with two orders that were incorrect. Out of frustration we resigned and left the location with incorrect orders. We also witnessed the doors being locked 20 minutes prior to closing at 9:40p by someone who was supposed to be a manager while customers were still trying to enter the building to order. Freddy's staff thought it was appropriate to close the doors 20 minutes early. The other Freddy's locations in the Memphis and surrounding area are always great; great customer service, great order experience, and great food ,but this location has definitely given Freddy's a bad name! I hope this review is read by someone in executive leadership or whoever owns this particular location so that some changes can be made not only with the staff but with the procedures to increase the customer experience at this location. The only positive experience from this entire interaction with the Freddie's staff on Poplar in Memphis Tennessee is that the person who took the order was very friendly and actually held herself accountable for the incorrect order the 1st time it was made wrong. Read moreI want to give 0 stars, but I have to give two for the kind manager. I placed a pick up order. The lady behind the counter was displeased when I walked up to the counter. She wouldn’t even speak to me at first and was just pointing for what I was asking for. The front line is miserable. I opened my bag to check the order and the burger must have been tossed in the bag because the box was open & the burger had fallen apart within the bag. I reassembled the burger in the store, but it was missing add ons and had removed items on the burger. We were missing a fry & drink & the lady behind the counter told me to go to the cooks. I went to the cook who ignored me for a few minutes & walked up with the most sour attitude. I asked him for the missing fry and he literally argued with me about it. I tried to show him the receipt and he wouldn’t even look at it. He said “Well my cheese machine isn’t working, so what do you want me to do about it?!” I asked for a regular fry and this man slapped it together with the most sour attitude. I was on the phone with my mom & told her it was a ** experience & we couldn’t order from there again. A manager walked up and asked what the problem was & started working on a refund and addressing the attitude issue with the employees right in front of me. The cook literally lied on me and said I was cussing him out which is why he copped an attitude with me. The manager knew what happened because she was right around the corner the whole time, but it was uncomfortable. Read moreThe food was fine and the presentation was a disaster and I fully understand that “fast food” has its limitations but you should never run out of lettuce and tomatoes (which they had none). You may not be able to have the best food or presentation but there is no reason for a place to be dirty, and this place was filthy. Disgusting soda fountain station with drip stains all over the top and the sides of the entire table and soda machine, no napkins in 3 of the 4 dispensers (and they stayed empty even after I notified the cashier), ketchup dispenser and fry sauce packets looked as if Freddy’s was growing cultures for a science project, dried up stains on the floor and all the way up the wall to the ceiling which appeared to be the source of the spill. The floors had straw wrappers and ketchup cups scattered throughout and in general felt like they were mopped with shortening. The floor in the bathroom was like a slip and slide, all the tables were dirty except the ones that the staff was using for their lunch break and 2 others occupied by customers. This was a very slow time at this location, not much drive thru traffic either and like 6 or 7 people working in the place. Bottom line, It appears that none of the staff cares about cleaning and I assume the manager on duty doesn’t care either which would lead any rational person to the conclusion that the back of house is just as gross and they most likely don’t care about proper food handling when preparing your...
