Krystal — Restaurant in Memphis

Tables were clean but the restrooms were so gross and the front door is broken so it doesn't close. This made it very chilly inside the restaurant. Most of the tables had the chairs on top of them and someone sitting in the lobby (who I later learned was related to the cashier) told us the lobby was closed (even tho her and another woman were sitting there charging cell phones). We still sat down after we ordered, and no workers said anything about us needing to leave. We went up to order and the woman glared at me without saying anything. Tried to order my burgers without onions and she told me it wasn't allowed. Tried to upside the drinks from medium to anything larger and was told I couldn't, and wasn't allowed to order them without ice and when I asked for a refill was told I'd have to buy a new one because refills weren't given. Took about 20 minutes to get our food and it was hot when it arrived. My husband ordered chili cheese tots and chili cheese fries are what he got, but said the chili was burnt and way too salty. The burgers were overloaded with onions (kind of felt it was personal because I asked for none, because there were so many onions they were spooned into and falling out of the box the burgers were in), and one of my burgers had a long, curly hair in it that I pulled out of my mouth with the first bite of my second (and last!) burger. The burgers were also very soggy and mushy and one of them just had a piece of cheese set in the box instead of on the burger. The only food we enjoyed were the awesome apple pies! Review of Krystal’s Restaurant: Disappointing Customer Service Experience

I recently visited Krystal’s, eager to enjoy a meal I had ordered through their mobile app. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory due to the level of customer service I encountered.

Upon arrival, I found myself waiting in line for over 30 minutes, which was frustrating enough, but the service that followed was truly disappointing. When I finally reached the drive-thru window, I was met with an employee who displayed a lack of professionalism. Instead of being greeted promptly, I was left waiting in silence as the employee merely glanced at me without making any attempt to acknowledge my presence.

It is essential for any restaurant, especially one with an established reputation, to prioritize customer service. A simple greeting or acknowledgment can make a significant difference in the dining experience. Unfortunately, it felt as though my presence was overlooked entirely, leaving me with a negative impression of the establishment.

I believe Krystal’s could benefit from investing in customer service training for their staff. Improving communication and engagement with customers can elevate the overall experience and encourage repeat business. I hope my feedback will be taken seriously, as I would love to see improvements in the future.

I will start by saying that this visit was a total waste of time, money and effort for our visit on the afternoon of 22 November. I’m sure that the staff are excellent at something however this is not their place to shine. Two standard orders one with cheese and one without. Both orders came without cheese and one of them came with only 3 of the 4 Crystals that were supposed to be in the package. Looking at the menu online there should have been 5 cheese Crystals. That could be a good thing to limit the bellyache later with the off tasting burgers. They were less than desirable and a total let down for us making a special trip just for the Crystal burgers. Lemonade tasted as if it were made from water and latrine soap. It was poured out unceremoniously on the ground. On a brighter note. The fries were edible. Needless to say, I will not be going to this Crystal ever again.
