I almost died from alcoholism, and I was diagnosed with pancreatitis.I went in a ambulance to Methodist hospital off Union Ave.I was admitted on Nov 13th right after midnight.I was picked up before midnight on Nov 12th around 11pm,and the paramedic was so helpful.I was dehydrated, andunable to hold down food, and was throwing up evryday for quite awhile,my hands were clamping up,and my left side of mouth wa.cramping or seizing, and it was very difficult to talk properly, and my heart rate was over 180 by the time I got into the hospital bed,and was badly hurting in lower belly above waist line.I was cut into in upper chestthe clavaacal and given in vein under the bone in my upper chest, and below my neck. I was treated, and given some.kind of medicine to try to lower my heart rate, and something to butterfly out,and was told it would feel like freight train coming at me,and make me feel wierd. It was the thought of the Doctor that maybe I had a condition or something, but after that i was given adavane for the withdrawals, and my heart rate was slowly going down,And i woke up close to 5 days later I think not sure exactly it is not remebered.I was placed on a ventilator at the South Methodist hospital of Elvis Presley, which I didnt know was there, and I woke up there, and was a mess, and being quite upset, and unable to do much.I am truly sorry for the way I spoke to my first nurse I was aware of after I woke up. I was mean to her,and I regret.I wanted to be unstrapped from that bed and released at some point because I remember demanding to.be let go.I told her they can not keep me here, but there now without my consent.I demanded to be let go,and told her I wanted a.different nurse, and to not be my nurse anymore.I basically yelled at her several times I think it was several times.I know I did that time at least when I demanded a different nurse, but she was just doing her job.I.wanted fluid for my mouth it was so dry.I threw a fit.I am so sorry, and wish I could tell to her face I don't know her name so maybe this will get to her.She was a nurse on the first floor after after I was taken off the.ventilator.I am sorry for what I said to you.I hope that you can forgive me for my words, and behavior, and actions.I wish you the best wishes this Christmas, and into the new year.God bless!! Trust in our Lord Jesus Christ!!!I had to go without water or ice chips due to my condition with my pancreas, but I did get a few ice chips eventually, and from there I was taken care so well.I am truly grateful for each member of the staff (Doctors,Nurses,Janitors, and the woman on the loudspeaker who said prayers for the everyone there)Every nurse there was so kind amd helpful.I cant remember all there names, but to Dr Lamar thank you,and I apologize for getting mad at you over not getting more Ensure nutrition drinks, and for saying you didnt tell me that I would have this condition for the rest of my life to be aware of.I am sorry Dr. Kumar.I really think you are a great Doctor, and man of God. May you be blessed all your life, and into enernity.I will pray today and thank God for all the staff. My friend James helped there so much, and I wish Him well,as did Job,and everyone else there.I cant remember the other names but eaxh nurse wasnso.nice, and proffesional.I was brought back from insanity.and depression, and alcoholism through God,and the staff of the two hospital.I am sober still, and wanting help others, and still have niy.smoked a cigarette since I was admitted to hospital off Union Ave.South Methodist hospital have a beautiful staff, and so does the Union Ave.I will never forget them. The tar in my lungs that that woman Nurse helped me cough up,and her reminding me to.be nice to get help, and better was so helpful.I thank her.I thank the man Nurse with the tattoo of monster from Zelda.I thank the man nurse who helped me get a shower.I can't remember his name, but it was so cool.He was from.another country I think originally, and was so cool, and kind.I thank Him.I thank Dr Zaidi also, and wish you a Merry Christmas.I thank you all.God bless...
