I gave this particular McDonald's location(Trinity Rd) a 1-Star review, which isn't entirely fair. It's not fair, because I ABSOLUTELY and TRULY believe, that my 1-Star rating is HONESTLY, AT LEAST, 5-Stars TOO HIGH/GENEROUS to be considered "fair," in my opinion. Just last night, I had to visit this location, as an UberEats driver. On several occasions, I have been sent to pick up Uber orders at this location. And on several occasions, there has ALWAYS, as in LITERALLY, EVERY SINGLE OCCASION, been either a COMPLETELY, RIDICULOUSLY L-O-N-G(and I'm talking about 35-45 minutes, at absolute BEST)wait time, or they just completely mess up the orders so bad, that people have to be refunded by Uber Customer Support! And until last night's visit, I had always thought that this came from a staff and management that was just totally incompetent. Now, I WISH that were only the case! Don't get me wrong, they are still, definitely incompetent, but last night I discovered another, and far more troubling reason as to exactly why the service is SO INCREDIBLY AWFUL! Not only are they completely incompetent, on all levels, including and ESPECIALLY the management staff, but the far more troubling reason that I learned last night, is that they just, truly and honestly, DO NOT CARE, AT ALL(ESPECIALLY about their Uber customers)! And as I was directly told by a manager last night, she thinks that the entire UberEats(and McDonald's is an ACTUAL "partner" with Uber)service is, and I quote, "stupid," and she doesn't think or feel as though they should have to fulfill any of those orders for those, "paying McDonald's customers!" And let me tell you, she absolutely holds true to that statement, and completely sticks to it! Last night, she INTENTIONALLY attempted, and "somewhat successfully," to SABOTAGE a customer's delivery order, and pretty much ABSOLUTELY REFUSED to prepare his order, in hopes that, after a ridiculously long wait, he would just decide to cancel his order. I can tell you, MOST(probably 99.9%) of the time, her plan of action is successful. Last night, however, unfortunately for her, she happened to go head to head with the, one out of a BILLION(other 0.1%), combination of both remarkably resilient customer(Kevin) and Uber driver(myself,) whom decided to wait her out, almost like, and absolutely as long, as a hostage situation, until she was, unwilfully, "FORCED" by her upper management/franchise owners and the Uber support team, to prepare his order, after he and I had both been waiting for OVER AN HOUR AND A HALF. But I can also tell you, it is NOT JUST the Uber delivery orders alone, where she and her staff are COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT and JUST DO NOT CARE! Seeing as how I had to sit and wait for an order for a TOTAL and EXACT TIME of ONE HOUR and THIRTY-SEVEN MINUTES, I can honestly say, with 100% ACCURACY and ABSOLUTE CERTAINTY, that EVERY SINGLE CUSTOMER last night, both Uber and in person, whether in the inside lobby or outside in the drive-thru, was anywhere from, at least a little bit perturbed, to EXTREMELY FURIOUS, by the time they got their food and left, with a MINIMUM wait time of around 22 minutes! And I dont know about you, but seeing over 40 CONSECUTIVE customers, all of which were, AT BEST "UNSATISFIED," seems to speak VOLUMES about the habits and culture of both the business, and those in place whom are making it that way,...
Read moreOn 12/21/2020 I ordered a McRib Meal and a kids Hamburger Happy Meal. I ordered it to be curbside and on the app it claims to have been fulfilled at 7.04PM. I then waited another 12 minutes with no one coming outside. I got out of my car and walked into the store to hear the employees hollering and cursing one another, they were barely paying any attention to the drive thru and just immediately processing the orders in their system to make it seem as of they were going out faster. I then stood there listening to that for 10 minutes with not a single person coming over to me, all the while I could see what was my meal on the counter. The lady who was packaging the orders during this entire time wasn't wearing gloves and was scratching her head, eating and playing on the phone. Then she said "I am not going outside". Which more than likely means my order has been done for awhile and just not brought out to me. No apology for me having to come in or anything. I have left a previous review for this particular restaurant but it seems to have done nothing. I will now be escalating this to the corporate channels. Below is the previous review.
This place is extraordinarily slow and lacking specialization in customer service and seems to be lacking the means to get some pep in their step to make the food and process the order in a timely manner. It is insane to wait a total of 30-45 minutes for a family order of 4. Sometimes during peak hours they actually manage to crank out orders faster, which to no ones surprise tend to be wrong. Not sure if they went under new management or just genuinely stopped caring. Either way it is completely ridiculous. They simply seem to not care about the reviews or customers...
Read moreHorrible experience today. We sat at the drivethru box for over five minutes before being acknowledged to order. Then, while ordering, the lady kept cutting out and told us to wait. I had to repeat my order multiple times. I tried giving benefit of the doubt because those mics can be hard to hear on. When we pulled up to the 1st window, I finally understood the problem. She was too busy goofing around and talking with her coworkers. We sat at the window almost another five minutes before she took my card to pay. She told me that the receipt machine wasn't working and that I wouldn't be able to get a copy. I think it's more so now that we couldn't submit the survey. Finally we got our meals and the sandwiches were so sloppily put together. There were so many condiments that it looked like the sandwich was melting. The ice cream cone was no more than a blob that was ready to fall off the cone. All the fry containers were only half full! The food was all extremely rushed. I get it's supposed to be fast food, but take some care into how you are packaging it. The lady working the food window looked completely miserable and had a very bad attitude. Don't bother asking for sauce because she'll huff at you while she's going to get it like you are the biggest burden of her day. The Germantown McDonald's is so much better than this place. This location was not even that busy to have had such little care...
