Tokyo Grill — Restaurant in Memphis

Manager or whoever works the front desk was rude. I called because as I was enjoying my food I found a BUG WITH LEGS in my rice. I called and spoke calmly and nicely to whoever answered the phone. They had the nerve to say if I have already eaten it I can't get a refund. I clocked out of work and drove up there. When I arrived the manager or whoever was at the front came off rude saying I ate the food. She NEVER expressed remorse. How would I know there would be a dead bug in my food at the bottom. She had the nerve to argue with me and dig in the box and pull the bug out to compare it to ONIONS. Now you tell me if this a ONION OR NOT. Disgusting and rude. I will never go there again. This is Horrible customer service. You going to argue with a customer over $13 HOUSE RICE ?? I will be finding another restaurant to buy my sushi...

I was very disappointed with this visit. Tokyo Grill has lost my business forever. I ordered the special, lobster roll because I love Osaka's version of it. I did not like the texture nor taste of it here. I informed the waitress and her response was " a lot of people like it. This is what you ordered. I will lose money if you don't pay for it." I informed her that she could have simply switched it for a comparable meal. I also let her know that she has now lost a customer for life over a $10 meal that she was scared of losing money over. I was very calm and rational but I do not feel as if my business was valued. She even shrugged her shoulders and repeated herself.

Me and my daughters go here every week. This particular week owner did not have her mask on or did she have gloves which is very unsanitary. 24 hrs later my and my daughter developed the influenza A. I have a 7 month old who has caught this flu from me also. We hadn’t eaten anything the whole day but this. On another occasion my oldest daughter found a long hair under her rice. I called her about it and she only offers plain fried rice. I should have stayed away when we saw the hair in the good. This place has gone down hill.
