My wife and I have been looking for a seafood restaurant with some good flavor. Today, September 4, 2022, was our first time trying Red Hook so we dined in to get the full experience and they did not disappoint. We spent over $180 with a tip and it was worth it. The dining room was clean and decorated with Pirates of the Caribbean with a splash of the sea vibe.
We ordered a 10 pc. order of Cajun Wings Combo, a 15 pc. order of Fried Calamari, Deep Fried Cheesecake, and The Red Hook Sunday Special with Red Hook Express Special Sauce with Hot Spice Level. This combo included Lobster and Snow Crab with Sausage, Potatoes, and Corn on the Cob. We added an additional 1/2 lb. of Crawfish and a few boiled Eggs.
The food was very flavorful and cooked to perfection. The wings, calamari, and cheesecake were crispy. The seafood boil was boiled just right and flavorful. Now I will say, they should add dry cajun and ranch season to their Cajun Ranch Wings, cut or poke holes in the potatoes and crab legs so they absorb that great flavor throughout...

We ordered a 5 pc. order of Cajun Wings, a 6 pc. order of Fried Cheese Sticks, and the Red Hook Express Special: Combo A with Cajun and Garlic Butter Sauce and a Medium Spice Level. This combo included 1 lb of Crawfish and 1/2 lb of Shrimp with Sausage, Potatoes, Corn on the Cob, and a Boiled Egg) and I added an additional half pound of Sausage.
As my wife mentioned in her review back in September, they should poke some fork holes in the potatoes so they can absorb some of that great flavor throughout. Other than that the food was cooked to perfection. The wings and cheese sticks were well seasoned and crispy. The seafood boil was boiled just right...

I kept a portion of the shrimp along with my receipt and took them to the location to request a refund or replacement and the management told me no. This location is being used by the chain to sell product that the management knows is bad. This is done by other regional and national chains as well. The practice of sending sub standard product to locations in the black community to increase profits is common for corporations. Kroger and Walmart do this regularly and now we can add Red Hook restaurants. Do not spend...
